If you wanted just one reason to vote Labour, Chippy just gave it to you.

By standing and declaring Seymour’s demonic Regulatory Standards Bill would go in the first 100 days, Labour is drawing a line under this corporate expansion into NZs Democracy.

If you don’t want corporate power influencing NZ law, vote Labour!

  1. Great, a transfusion of pep and commitment. Labour lost an election after trying to do the right thing by the country, but got mixed up thinking the word was company, and failing to get the team working together for the people as well as big business.. But it was a near thing and they haven’t had the right team spirit since 1984, so take heart and practise those moves. Be like the Northland Going* Brothers with their rugby moves, and their spirit which took them to the top.

(Shades of Hotel California – – So I called up the Captain, “Please bring me my wine.”
He said, “We haven’t had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine.”
And still those voices are calling from far away, Wake you up in the middle of the night
    Just to hear them say
    — YES we will repeal the Raggy Regs Bill!!

  2. Why a hundred? There is no reason to debate this for even ten minutes. Let alone allow it to last for 10% of a parliamentary term.

Ten days. Better yet, within the first hour on the first day, with anyone speaking in opposition being sentenced to be horse-whipped by the Privileges Committee through majority vote. Turnabout is fair play.
