Less money for Sport vs more money for Boot Camps

More money for Boot Camps, less money for Sport

‘Kids in sport stay out of court’ – Sport NZ to help curb youth offending

Sport and Recreation Minister Mark Mitchell – who also has the Police and Corrections portfolios – unveiled the findings of a review into the Crown agency last month, resulting in savings of $2.9 million a year and moving its strategic policy arm to the Ministry for Culture and Heritage.

This Government has it all wrong – they are cutting $2.9m from Sport and Recreation crying, ”Kids in sport stay out of court’, while they spend an extra $30m on failed Boot Camps that we know don’t work.

All this Government cares about is saving money while generating more punishment.

They are strangling the common good for their donors interests.

How much must you hate Jacinda for saving the country from a once in a century pandemic for all this to be acceptable?

Take a long hard look in the mirror Kiwi.

Take a long hard look.

  1. It’s a really old term and the likes of Bob the troll and idiot Im right won’t get it but Mitchell is a drongo!

  2. “They are strangling the common good for their donors interests.”

Their blind short run economic mismanagement fails to see the common good is in their donors long run interests. Greater profits cannot be generated from a destroyed and impoverished society with stagnant falling demand.
