How Kiwis got tricked into being simps for corporations

Kiwis have become simpering slaves to corporations and it’s sickening!

Look at how National, ACT and NZF ram through deregulation policy for their donors interests.

Look at how the Agricultural Industry bought and paid for the environmental policy under this government!

Look at how ACT destroyed 2000 local jobs for school lunches so they could give the multi hundred million dollar contract to a large international transnational.

Look at how the NZ Initiative plus the Atlas Network are pushing the deregulation agenda for National, ACT and NZFs donors interests!

Kiwis have accepted all of that because they have allowed their anger and hatred at culture war issues to be manipulated by the Right to legislate for their donors!

The Right have gotten you so twisted by the trans debate, by Māori road signs and orange road cones that you have dropped to your knees to kiss corporate arse!

You are willingly being slaves to corporations because fuck that Trans kid right?

You are handing over your personal sovereignty to corporations because Māori is spoken during the weather!

You are agreeing to be a prostitute for corporate profit margins because a vaccine against a once in a century pandemic somehow doesn’t  meet you standards?

Comrades, your enemy isn’t some kid transitioning, it’s not a Māori woman in politics, Māori women in media, Māori women outside walking (we really do have a problem with giving our Māori women comrades crap)

Your enemy isn’t drag queen story time, it’s not environmentalists, it’s not beneficiaries, it’s not state tenants, it’s not renters, it’s not the Treaty.

Your enemy is who it’s always been, the banks, the billionaires, the corporations, the powerful who use social media hate algorithms to warp you into believing their interests are your interests when nothing can be further from the truth!

How have you allowed you post-covid bitterness, hatred of trans, fury at vaccines and rage at Māori to blind you all to being whores for corporations?

We need to be kinder to individuals and crueler to corporations.

Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

    • ‘Disarm you and make you a slave.’

So Dave now we know how you spend your weekends.

Strange I thought my power came from my vote, my right to free speech, my right to petition the crown.
Dave McCain apparently agrees with Mao Zedong that ‘power comes from the barrel of a gun.’

      • No, but that is what backs up the State’s power and that is why they are so keen to limit you having that power. Your vote largely only provides you with the illusion of influence, true influence comes with a lot more zeros after the number.

        • That is a changing theme. First its the barrel of a gun that’s the thing that gives a person power. Then it’s zeroes, lots of them. So money and guns that provides power and not the illusion that comes with our democracy. That’s our point, we need to get beyond that – but how.

Not by having more guns and more money. Guns are real we know that, but wait for it, money is a changing system that has been set up so we can trade more easily than barter, you could say it’s universal barter so I can pay you even if I only have fish as my only offering. If I can earn some universals then I can trade with whoever accepts the system money.

And we can change the value of the universal money with a thought. As in Darth Vader explanation given by Eddie Izzard (before Suzy Eddie Izzard) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxX7QCll3oc

Ultimately, it does. You’ve just deluded yourself that, because you can tick a box every three years, say things online (although there are some topics you cannot touch), and write a letter to an MP, somehow this negates the fact that, if you were to seriously threaten the status quo, you would be killed by a man with a gun.

        • It’s worth noting guns represent a very weak form of power in themselves. True power is often wielded with a few words, an easy smile and a firm handshake in a nice restaurant over a bottle of good wine.

  1. Corporations are in short walking corpses disguised by a thick skin who will put off their own final demise by pushing we the people before them. Life is grim so let us own that and do something to protect ourselves and keep some positive thoughts at the back of our minds. Help someone every day, you can’t do everything for all the needy around you, but buy a pie for the person on the pavement, drop a gold coin to a busker, give a spare old rug to an outdoor sleeper.

Way to go I think only way, is try to be helpful and kind but practical too – just a little bit rather than nothing and don’t expect too much back they can only get by. But yourself stiffen up and be as strong as poss, we will need that. But have a laugh or chuckle regularly but not at other people, we all are ridiculous sometimes. The malicious, uncaring, keep an eye on them they can hurt.
How to handle life and death ? Like Beetlejuices Netherworld waiting room?:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0PkmeXxN68 (then Taco and the..Ritz if you like, good and weird)
But more seriously – here is how Beetlejuice handled real estate corps and brought them up short. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMCqP4-BZmo

    • ps I know some good real estate people but too many you get a mosquito problem. Or finally get swamped by those awful midges that apparently can drive people distracted.

  2. Kiwis are too focused on Maori and homeless bashing to see the reality of what is going on .I saw a piece this morning about the increase in the use of meth nz wide .But no one really cares as they assume that only unemployed homeless people use meth .Most media paint that assumption too as they are too lazy to get out and mix with users and find the reality .The wealthy users are able to be more anonymous when using .
We have a major problem with 37 kgs of meth being consumed every week and use is double last years consumption .That will likely rise again next year to 50kgs per week which points to more than unemployed and homeless being the only users in NZ .
