MEDIAWATCH: The Left attempt podcasts to win back men

There will never again be a place for men amongst the organisations of the Left.

Today’s Left valorises victims and identity group victimhood, and men don’t want to consider themselves as victims- and they are usually not a victim as an individual.

Then there is the female section of the Left that won’t want to give up their space for men to be heard again. #ALLMEN

The only role for men amongst today’s Left is as the guilty persons in the meetings. #DavidCunliffe

For the Democrats to win back men, they have to genuinely want them back. But they don’t, they just want their votes. Just like they don’t like black people, but need their votes.
The pretense is obvious.

Until Labour admits [it] allowed roger douglas to trojan-horse neoliberalism in, up and over us then Labour can go fuck itself along with The Neoliberal- Prime national.

Just because you enjoy competitive shooting with a modern rifle doesn’t mean the Left don’t have a place for you…
Oh wait, they do. It’s with ACT, the Left don’t want your support.

Poor Democrats. They haven’t been this discombobulated since the Republicans took away their right to own slaves.

I will say however that the quint concepts of Left and Right might now be well extinct.
Labour, let’s be honest, isn’t Labour at all. It’s what I’d describe as roger douglas’s launching pad. The stunted little pig farmer launched *neoliberalism via The Left because he knew that it’d never get traction via the old socialist minded Labour. He, in effect, used old Labour to Trojan Horse neoliberalism into our societies. He dared not try to use National because the majority would see National as being a greedy opportunistic pro ‘them farmers’ party and so should be viewed as such; with grave suspicion. But not if neoliberalism came in through Labour’s front door held open by everyone’s favourite social-ist champion, David Lange.
You must remember and never forget; Neoliberalism is here and now and is fully operational across all parties. It’s never gone away, it’ll never go away until good people revolt and that doesn’t look like it’ll happen anytime soon.
Until we come to understand that where we are now politically is unchanged from 40 odd years ago. If we don’t accept that the political Left is a myth, that the political Right is now morphed into fascism then nothing new will happen and no good will come from doing the same things while expecting different results.
There is NO Left. There’s no Right either within the common understanding of the politic. What we do have is a covert, deep state corporate fascism where we’re only as free as those same corporate fascists will allow as to believe we are. Retail electricity? What the fuck? Retail public transport, retail health? Retail this, retail that?
There’s no good to come of pretending we have alternatives when we don’t. There’s no Left. There’s no Right. There’s only fascism and because we don’t recognise just how intrusive fascism has become within our societies we can’t really see it for what it literally is. A clever mechanism used to steal your money for their wealth creation while they live mightily and in luxury.

Here’s the problem as I see it, and I think others do as well.
What you call the “left” are so far right, in terms of economic policy, that they have to compensate with bullshit social policy in an attempt to “be kind”.
Until the left change their economic policy to favour work over capital, which removes the need for all their bullshit social policy, voters will see them as a slightly less repulsive, but more insidious, form of the extreme far right we have in power now.
What is kinder? To boil the frog slowly in oil, or to put a bullet through its tiny head.

I’d like posts to start off with Kiwi stuff and then show how USA stuff affects us too not the other way round. The whole of politics has become a mega drama performance to hat titillates (suitable word eh) the punters, us as the passive audience. What we want is to make sure of audience participation in this country,not be looking at the USA all the time. We don’t want to be watching them as the country burns behind us. If we hre want to attract men back to the Left we need to be clever, Tamaki has succeeded in rallying men in one way, but we don’t want the brownshirt reaction – the Left should do better and then demand to take over Labour. Rationale – the present incumbents are losers, out of touch with the voters, and out of touch with their own humanity. They are caught up in the theatrical strutting and peacock side of politics minor stars under the guidance of a clever, calculating entrepreneur plus.

How did the modern conception of masculinity become so constrained and narrow that some men are threatened by women with assertiveness, well-argued opinions and a determination to maintain the sort of financial and physical independence that men take for granted?
What the hell happened? Where did the idea of Renaissance Man disappear to? The archetypal Renaissance Man being Sir Philip Sidney – the international diplomat, acclaimed poet and soldier who died at the battle of Zutphen aged 32 – reputedly from an infected leg wound after he removed his own thigh armour because his men had not been issued with any for the battle.
What happened to the man who has a larg, inclusive spirit, who can do many things, who (as Whitman said) “contains multitudes”?

Now he just sits and whines about something called ‘wokeness’ – a garbage concept invented by a malevolent right-wing propaganda machine. It’s not’ wokeness’ that’s the problem, it’s how contemporary capitalism, the tyranny of money and predatory rent-seeking limits the possibility of young men being anything more than a shadow of what they could be.
