OMG.

I love this…

Firearms Minister Nicole McKee wants the gun registry gone – review says she should keep it

    • The Act Party and its MP Nicole McKee campaigned in 2023 on axing the registry and, under strict conditions, widening access to military-style automatic firearms.
    • A review of the firearms registry was completed months ago but has not been released, though the Herald understands it recommends keeping it.
    • McKee, now Associate Justice Minister, says she will continue to campaign for her constituency, but ‘that doesn’t necessarily mean we will get what we want’.

Associate Justice Minister Nicole McKee appears to have an uphill battle ahead if she wants to scrap or overhaul the gun registry, after a review is understood to recommend keeping it.

The official findings of the review are yet to be released, even though it was completed months ago, as discussions with coalition partners continue over what happens next.

But the Herald has been told by multiple sources that the review’s recommendations favour not only retaining the registry, but also for all firearms to be registered.

…BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The review she called to deregulate gun laws has bitten her in the arse and come out not only in total favour of retaining the gun register – BUT TO MAKE ALL FIREARMS REGISTERED!!!!!

BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh Christ I love this – the gun nutters will lose their fucking minds over this!

ACT did a deal with the devil by bringing the gun nutters into their Party because like the anti-vaxxers, gun nuts they are all deranged!

The review has demanded not only the register be kept, but that all guns now be registered and Nicole Mckee is going to have to eat 10 000 dead rats of humble pie in backing down!

BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  1. Makes sense. If cars are dangerous and can kill people then guns and shooters can be registerred and licensed just like cars and drivers. We already know how to do this. Only difference fines and enforcement need to be bigger and better to stop guns in crime.

  2. However in the meantime the fascist mongrel Act party and its glove puppet leader have wrecked havoc in AONZ society costing the taxpayer millions while behind the scenes working to sell the country to the wide boys at the big end of town and their international donors. Act have to be removed from anywhere near the levers of govt.

    • Exactly @ Phil McC
There is, however, one small problem and that is; we have no govt.
We never voted for dumb little graeme hart and yet he paid $700 K for our current political lineup.
      $400k for luxon, $200 k for seymour and $100 k for peters.
That’s not governance by us, for us while finding politicians there because we voted for them to do their best by us. That, is fascism with a nice dollop of corruption in favour of the man with the money and that ain’t a poorer household in Porirua Baby.
What we have as governance is a myth. A faking-maker small bald salesman, a weasley little fascist and an old, wheezing Machiavellian confederate lawyer. That’s not democratic governance. That, is a gang of cheap, plasti-crooks telling us, indeed desperately trying to convince us that their words are Holy and their deeds are honourable when they’re clearly not.
But here’s the kicker, as they say. Labour, isn’t that either. It, is merely a fascist natzo clone and if that worries you then so it should.
Solution: At this point I don’t see one short of a violent revolution and since we’re so dumbed down and can’t make a fist without detailed instructions I don’t see one of those happenning anytime soon.

      • I am not misogynist and will support any women who is doing good for herself and in this case for NZ .In this case she is doing nothing of the sort .If you think NZ needs military weapons on the street and in every house in NZ then I fear for NZ .

      • She may be a strong accomplished wahini however she’s got a one track mind and it’s all about guns . Watching her in parliament she has no time for the safe option of gun control. It’s an irony to be called the government of tough on crime while opening the gates of gun freedom to all and sundry and she is not one to listen to anyone but the gun lobby, in fact she is the gun lobby.

        • Oh dear Dave you are obviously a demented gun owner. I suppose you are against drivers license and car rego as well. If one registry is bad surely they all are.
Mind you if we don’t have to pay for the cost of all these registries like land ownership etc we will have squillions to spend on hospitals to treat the gun shot wounds.

        • Not misogynistic at all Helen. Realistic assessment of a stupid woman enabled by a stupid man. She’s only there to appeal to the gun nuts and racists.

  3. ” Good job! ”

But Bomber what about the RSB that is just as dangerous.

Seymour doesn’t need a register to hold his gun to the Hobbits heads while promising the cartridge is empty.

  4. Dont worry all you wanna be secret poor shots, that need 50 shots to hit the target ,this government will ignor the well being of NZ and all information put foward by the enquiry .They always do just look at the stupidity of allowing cars to travel at 100kph past schools and 60 kph in streets that are so blocked by cars parked on the foot paths .
Lets just not bother with any regulation and join the USA gun toting school kids killing each other with mum or dads gun .
