Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog,  3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.

All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.

EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist abuse, homophobic abuse, racist abuse, anti-muslim abuse, transphobic abuse, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird Bullshit about the UN taking over the world  and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

    • Looks, sounds, really interesting – it is going to add to my paranoia but that is just one psychological state on offer at the moment and far more interesting and lively than most of the others. So thanks for the introduction.

  1. Any word on upcoming protest actions around Auckland this week? With the way recent policies are heading, it feels like more coordinated community response is needed.

    • Nice to get out into the sunshine, protesting would be secondary to that health benefit which is all that results from getting out onto the street. The upper strata are so up themselves there is no further to climb now that we have conquered Everest.

Groups and people from all over the nation gathered and smart arses in Parliament like Trevor duck just treated it as a limp joke. Instead of looking on it as a people’s effort at honestly fronting the authorities and who would have been able to make some valid points if listened to! The whole thing showed how the smarts have got to a point that they cannot relate to those further down the ladder. Nelson’s mayor has been in politics all his life, and still clings on – he used to talk about ‘rent a crowd’ when thinking of protesters who are just a nuisance, block roads. Citizens POV, listen, develop better agreed systems, implement and retain – too rational.
