Israel’s ceasefire violations in Gaza continue — yet silence prevails over more deaths and injuries:
Victims 5–6 February 2025:
Holding onto their positions in the Netzarim and Philadelphi buffer zones as well as the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip, Israeli Occupation forces opened fire on returningPalestinians, killing two of them and wounding four others. One more Palestinian has died from previous wounds and another 28 bodies have been recovered from underneath bomb-damaged property. The total number killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is now at least 47,583 and, of those wounded, it is more than 111,633. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 97 and, that of those injured, is more than 228.

[Palestinian Monitoring Group] Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (including evenpermit– holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially–negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – home invasions in refugee camp: Jenin – Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, continued to storm the city as well as the refugee camp, raiding and searching homesand taking prisoner one person.
Israeli Army attack – airstrikes – injury – families forced to flee town: Tubas – Israeli forces continued to storm the town of Tamoun and maintain its curfew over the population. Israeli drones launched missiles onto four separate targets, injuring one resident, Anas Hussein Tubasi. Israeli troops also searched a mosque after using explosives to blast open the entrance. Thirteen people were taken prisoner and several families forced to flee their home town.
Israeli Army attack – home destroyed with explosives in refugee camp: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, stormed the city and the refugee camp, using explosives to destroy a house in the refugee camp.
Home invasions: Jerusalem – 09:00–11:00, Israeli Occupation forces raided the town of Abu Dis, invading a house as well as a residence for Al-Quds University female students. They also raided the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Quds University and smashed open the door of Dr Issam Ishaq’s office.
Home invasions and vandalism in refugee camp – 3 taken prisoner: Tubas – Israeli forces continued to raid the al-Far’a refugee camp, invading homes, taking prisoner three residents, bulldozing more of the main market street and destroying further infrastructure.
Home invasions and population–control: Qalqiliya – 16:45, the Israeli Army raided the village of al-Funduq, invading homes and issuing orders to stop construction of two houses.
Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.
