United States of Plutocracy – The 1% are supporting Trump’s Orange Fascism

Trump’s Orange Fascism has been invested in by the Billionaire Class and that should deeply concern everyone…

If Trump Wins, Blame the Billionaires

As Elon Musk’s rabid pro-Trump mania makes clear, billionaires are wielding their financial might in this year’s presidential election far more than in any previous campaign—and far more openly, too. More than 60 billionaires have opened their wallets to help elect Donald Trump, with some giving $10 million, $20 million, or more, indicating that many plutocrats are far more worried about the prospect of Democrats increasing their taxes than about the threat that Trump poses to our democracy.

There’s no denying that billionaires are trying to bend society to their will. America’s 800-plus billionaires hold over $6 trillion in wealth, more wealth than the bottom half of U.S. households. The super wealthy own a greater share of the nation’s wealth today than they did during the Gilded Age of the Rockefellers and Carnegies. And they will do whatever they have to do to keep things that way.

This from the Intercept:

J.D. Vance wants voters to think of him as a rags-to-riches Appalachian kid who believes in small-town values and working-class populism.

But to understand the real J.D. Vance, you have to follow the money — and the money leads directly to Silicon Valley billionaires like Peter Thiel.

Thiel hired Vance at his venture capital firm after Vance graduated from Yale Law School, then poured $15 million into Vance’s successful campaign for the U.S. Senate. He was also among the strongest voices pushing Donald Trump to pick Vance as his running mate.

So why is Peter Thiel so enamored with J.D. Vance? And what do tech moguls expect to get in return for acting as Vance’s political patrons?

Peter Thiel made his fortune as a co-founder of PayPal and Palantir and an early investor in Facebook. In the Trump era, he has emerged as a major right-wing political funder, spending $35 million in the 2022 midterm election cycle alone.

His political philosophy has been described as “super-nationalistic” and “closer to authoritarianism” than libertarianism. For instance, in 2009, Thiel declared in an essay explaining his political vision that “I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible.”

But Thiel isn’t the only tech billionaire with close ties to Vance. Other prominent backers include former PayPal COO and Yammer founder David Sacks, venture capitalists Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, and Elon Musk, who called Trump’s selection of Vance an “excellent decision.”

And a second Trump administration would be positioned to provide tremendous benefits to all of these Silicon Valley tycoons through good old-fashioned tax cuts, subsidies, and deregulation.

JD Vance appeals to white pain, white poverty and white grievance in a way that builds Trumps muscular theatre into a political dynasty.

This is Nascar for Brown Shirts, Wrestling for Incels.

The machismo of Trump in a United States of Crisis Masculinity, that punching the air as blood dripped from his face with the American flag in the back ground – I mean I WANT to believe Americans aren’t this shallow, but I fucking know they are.

Thanks to woke social media activists, the white working poor have been enlightened by how much that middle class elite hate them and social media hate algorithms and loneliness does the rest.

Trump politically understands resentment as well as Hitler did and he has understood the resentment of the white working poor who have had their American dream traded in for free market trade deals and neoliberal capitalism.

To date the pain of the white working poor has been murdered by opiate addiction, an addiction that JD Vance hilariously understood and profited from…

…this is the power and the pain that JD Vance understands and channels…

…middle class identity politic activists benefit from the capitalist system, the white working poor are victims of it.

Vance is a client candidate of NZer and Global Libertarian Super Criminal Peter Thiel, he who created the mass surveillance Eye of Mordor Palantir and progresses an anti-democratic agenda to bring about a free market stateless utopia.

Vance sees the state as a betrayer and Thiel’s agenda as a means to punish and break that betrayer and remake American Capitalism in the image of those white working poor who do the actual manual labour.

Trump/Vance represents white poverty, pain and grievance welded onto a Libertarian Billionaire anarchist capitalist class who’ve agreed to amputate America last.

The Democrats better have more than sick childless cat meme burns to win this election.

  1. Those voting for Trump hate the smug Progressive elites that despise them in return.

Voting for Trump is the price the ‘garbage’ ‘deplorables’ are willing to pay for someone to smack that Progressive elite.

  2. “ Trump appeals to the working classes because he understands resentment better than anyone.” – M Bradbury

This is the conundrum. Trump is supported by the working class in America, yet the left commentators (who purportedly love the working classes) hate him.

I always predicted that Kamala would win, but the last week I’ve changed my mind, and it’s all thanks to Joe Rogan, who btw supports neither. I think the simple fact the Trump did 2 hours with Joe, JD did 4 hours with Joe and Kamala refused to do 1 hour with Joe will sink the election for her.

I thought they could win by hiding her away, which they’ve done well, but Trumps team has absolutely called her out by her refusal to appear in a long form interview format, with her team controlling the narrative.

Trump will win, handsomely. The democrats ‘picked’ (not selected, because she bypassed the selection process) the wrong candidate.

    • Fuckin bullshit mate, Joe Rogan is not the litmus test for the winner, you are obviously a fan. Also, yeah now we understand why our past PM , who granted Theil citizenship after three days in the country, his ‘esteeeeemed’ endorsement of Trump. Whoop de do Key, your endorsement means nothing beyond revealing your spots. Which will not be that impressive after Harris wins, which she will clearly do. However it is a flag waved to the billionaire club, which was Key’s signal, I can only guess as his reason for outting himself as a Trumpist – and he’s not even American by golly. Shows you what a cynical creep he is tho. Yuk

  3. Listening to the conspiracy theorists they say if it’s a fair election Trump wins, if he does not win then the election is rigged. Trump says he will win the election because he has enough votes even though the votes haven’t been counted yet.

I struggle to understand the complexity of the human brain.

  4. The Democrats abandon their working class voters then call them ‘deplorable’ and ‘garbage’. That’s a stupid strategy. May be working class voters choose not to vote for stupid.

  5. It’s interesting – Elon Musk, Peter Thiel bad but George Soros, Larry Fink and Bill Gates good. The left always forgets who bankrolls the democrats…..

  6. Capitalism has persisted for so long despite the obvious downsides–climate disaster, hunger, inequality, state violence, Imperialist wars, oppression and exploitation of the majority of humans–because of the ideological war.

The battle for peoples minds–controlling the narrative and stopping wide fightback–is the key to the minority of arseholes remaining in nominal control. Everyday life points out the anarchy and sinking lid for the planet that is capitalism–but the divisions among the majority along nationalist and identity lines help things continue as they are.

The parasite class epitomised by 1%ers like Thiel and Musk need a Trump win to continue their revenue stream, and a lot of Americans would like to be just like them–dog eat dog, stomping on others.

    • I think time and time again, Capitalism has proven that it bets the alternative. I also note all anti-capitalists never seem to want to leave their capitalist country.

      • “Capitalism has proven that it bets the alternative”

I disagree, yes, it has come out on top, but not because of its merits, but because it plays dirtier.

    • There’s a difference between mostly clean and transparent money raised by the grass level Democrats and the mostly “dark” and hidden money funnelled to the Right wing and Republican party.
You should do some investigation, start with the Heritage Foundation and Koch Bros and their anti-environmental/climate science and anti-governmental regulation campaigns, there is plenty of well researched source material out there.
It may help you get over your personal bewilderment.

  7. “The machismo of Trump in a United States of Crisis Masculinity, that punching the air as blood dripped from his face with the American flag in the back ground – I mean I WANT to believe Americans aren’t this shallow, but I fucking know they are.”

That’s not ‘shallow’. While the woke left run around searching out ‘safe spaces’ here we have Trump within a whisker of losing his life, and punching the air ‘fight fight fight’. What a fucking warrior

  8. Does anything “actually” change when a new Government or leader is elected?
NZ 2023 Britain the USA 2024.
I would say 99% stays the same.
Like seriously what if anything has changed in the USA since 1990?
I mean apart from the internet what has actually changed these past 34 years?
    I would say virtually nothing.
Different faces, updated technology, other than that mostly the same.
People who think change will come with a change in Govt, More fool you.
    Much Ado About Nothing.

Dirty kiwis were at it long before trump. Stealing off with farmer money before it could go down the gravel road.
Auckland was built and still runs on ill gotten farmer money and everyone it seems ok with that. Even dumb ass farmers are ok with that, such is the might of a gaslighted MSM slithering around at the feet of the multi-billionaires, the multi millionaires and the four now foreign owned banksters making $180.00 a second net 24/7/365.
This is fantastic stuff. Michael Dressel is a great photographer.

  10. what gets me is that people think that Trump and his MAGA cabal are any different. They’re all-in on the fucking swamp. The only thing that will change are the snakes and the alligators, although his lot have quite a few mutations.

Where are the real Republicans? This small time shit show is an embarrassment.

  11. Oliver Anthony would be a much better choice – problem he is probably isn’t interested and the ‘system’ will be rigged so that someone like him doesn’t even get a chance even if he was interested.

  12. The colonialist political establishment in New Zealand generally fears a second Trump presidency. With good reason because Trump may raise higher tariff barriers against New Zealand exports, as he did last time around.
But, as with the first Trump presidency, the colonialist establishment will remain a loyal ally of Washington regardless of who occupies the oval office and regardless of how badly he or she might damage New Zealand’s national interests. All the talk about what an appalling person Trump is will come to nothing. He may be a “Nazi”, fascist, misogynist, xenophobe, demagogue, tax dodger, insurrectionist and liar but to New Zealand’s political class he will become a “like minded other” from the moment of his inauguration. This is what it means to be a Quisling state.

  13. Ah, yes, unlike the people’s champion Kamala Haretz, with small donors the likes of:
    1) Michael Bloomberg (Jeffrey Epstein associate)
    2) Bill Gates (flew on his plane multiple times)
    3) Reid Hoffmann of LinkedIn (visited Little St James with his friend Jeffrey)

  14. Just been on Fbook ‘Hobson’s Pledge’. The post is always slightly rational, allowable, the comments reach back to School Journal racism. Cut out the ‘slightly’ for your post and the comments from the Right here are also from old disproved ideas.

  15. The O.1% have control of it all. Which of their puppets do we prefer, the crass one or the cultured one…c’mon dumb asses, pick a puppet.
