Adding Iwi and Hapu 1840 Rights empowers gravy train lawyers and gives ACTs Treaty Principles Referendum glorious political camouflage

After hilariously adding Iwi and Hapu rights into their draft, who is ACT’s Treaty Principles Referendum Bill appealing to now?

Gravy Train Treaty Lawyers or Reactionary Right Wing Libertarian gun owners?

The gravy train treaty lawyers will be planning their next 5 star holiday in Bali after seeing the legal loophole Seymour’s Bill has created by enshrining into law the right to argue Hapu and Iwi legal rights in Court so how will reactionary rednecks respond?

Hobson’s Pledge have already called on supporters to donate to help them fight David’s new second principle which they claim is Cabinet agreeing to ‘two levels of rights’ – David knows his $4million vanity project won’t advance, but by inoculating himself from claims of racism and getting Hobson’s Pledge to criticise him and he’s going to manage to pretend this is all about democratic equality minus the racism!

The Left in this country keep underestimating Seymour and keep feeding him culture war ammunition he shoots back at us!

The CTU estimates this zombie bill will cost $4million at a time the Government are slashing public funding!

Chris Luxon argues this is MMP when challenged why he’s allowing a $4million vanity project with no chance of a progressing through to first reading, but the truth is because Luxon is an incredibly weak Prime Minister, he’s getting played by a far smarter David Seymour!

This move to include Iwi and Haru legal rights is evidence of how sly and clever Seymour really is.

By enshrining Hapu and Iwi rights into law, it camouflages ACT and inoculates them from accusations of racism.

He gets a 6month platform to rage against special rights for Māori will side stepping any accusation of racism by pointing out he’s actually the first one ever to put Iwi and Hapu rights into law.

Seymour is far smarter than we on the Left give him credit for and this move to include Hapu and Iwi rights is just a chess master crossed with Great White Shard level of Machiavellian Genius.

The only ones who are happy with this will be the Gravy Train Treaty Lawyers who will litigate for the next decade what those Hapu and Iwi legal rights mean.

Hilariously Redneck Cracker Settlers are going to burst the red veins on their crimson necks when they realise what David’s new Bill will allow for.

If you want a race war because  the weather report is in te reo, wait until you see 10 years of Treaty litigation!

David knows his redneck crackers can’t go anywhere else politically while the inclusion of Iwi and Hapu rights allows him to appeal to more reactionary Kiwis caught up in the grievance culture who don’t like being called racist.

David has inoculated ACT against accusation of racism by including Iwi and Hapu rights.

The Left really needs to stop underestimating Seymour.

  1. Yip sly Seymour know that his $4 million vanity project isn’t gonna see the day of light. Divide & conquer is all ACT is about but New Zealanders of all colors hopefully ain’t dumb to fall for his shit? The adults have been discussing treaty issues for ova 50 years & have done an amazing articulate evidence based commentary surrounding our country history and legal proceedings following international law that we have been signed up too for 76 years.

  2. Seymore is really muddying the waters with this Treaty Principles Bill. Going to be an interesting 6 months, with Seymore getting plenty of Press Coverage which he will love. However a big waste of time, money and energy. How can you reinterpret or rewrite a document that was written up and signed by the relevant parties 186 years ago, non comprehende ???

  3. Oh the poor old rednecks and river of filthers have been sold another ACT load of rubbish .I had one of their followers staying last week and he has no understanding of what the sea bed and foreshore bill is about .He thought it was all about him being able to go fishing .When I pointed out it was to enable the fishing and mining industries to have free reign to destroy the ocean and plunder his not so secret fishing spot he was shocked .Now he is being sold another lie that all Maori would be eliminated by this bill and he would have more land as well as the seabed .Once a staunch National voter who jumped on the anti Maori band wagon he will be sadly disappointed when this load of rubbish ends up in the bin and he is left with nothing more than he had before the election except a divided Nation .

  4. Just a thought regarding collecting statistics on Maori .Lets for once collect information on the 90% of Maori who dont end up in jail or living in poverty or have bad health .Lets focus on all the Maori teachers, doctors ,lawyers, and business that are providing great services to NZ INC.Then there are all the digger and bulldozer drivers ,builders, drain layers ,and others that do the heavy lifting .Then lets look at all the successful investments Tainui and Niatahu have made in the last 20 years which are driving the economy now and into the future like the inland port at Ruakura .Lets look at how that growth will drive the Maori contribution past the current 20% of GDP while the rest contribute less .A challenge for the anti Maori brigade I know but a real worth while project that Luxon should get Seymoure to use his band of non acheivers to undertake instead of wasting $400 million on a anti maori bill that will end up in the bin .

  5. It looks like Te Reo Luxon has again watered down good ACT legislation.

First the 3Strikes now this and I have a gut feeling unwanted Co-Governance will be forced into the RMA reforms too.

New Zealand will not go forward if Luxon continues to lack the spine to get good things done.

    • Why do you want a referendum when you probably don’t have a clue about our country history?

We should have a referendum on every single legislation the executive pass through parliament if we are playing that game?

The Treaty has been studied extensively by the best minds in our country what can you and other ignorant pakeha bring to the table that can progress the treaty issues????

  6. I feel very uneasy about Luxon and Peters actually stopping this if it gains a lot of momentum.
‘It’s not about fricking targets. It’s about outcomes.’
If the outcome is inspiring even more support for ACT when the bill is debated will National and NZ First renege on previous statements about not supporting it past the first reading?
    Winston is a supreme opportunist.
I would say Luxon’s principles are flexible except I doubt if he has any.
I remember my dad’s comment on previous elections.
“A bit of Maori bashing never hurts the Pakeha vote’

    • The problem with the current “maori bashing” is that its calvinized Maori communities like I’ve neva witnessed in my 60 years of life. Sure pakeha and non-Maori can gloat about spewing their trash on Maori but the consequences are coming for that type of bigoted behavior no kidding lol

    • I dont think Luxon has the balls to bin it in the end because he needs the idiot to stay in power which is all he really wants .If he has the fact that he was PM he thinks he will get a job at the world bank or costco ,even if he is a failed PM as he looks more like every day .

  7. Another of ACT’s appalling ministers. It’s either a conflict of interest or straight out corruption. In saying that, I’d suggest both.
