Oh now Luxon is the super strategist chess player Svengali is he?

The right wing apologists for Luxon first claimed he wasn’t a politician so that’s why he was so useless and had to keep u-turning on things he’d said 24 hours earlier.

Then the apologists attempted to sell him as the great deal maker, which looked farcical after ACT and NZ First screwed National over.

Then they tried to pretend he was moderate and not extreme despite:

  • Attacking Worker Rights
  • Attacking Renter Rights
  • Taking $555million form the poorest families
  • Vandalising Public transport
  • Starting a race baiting war on Māori while attempting to legislate away the Treaty.
  • Stopping cameras on fishing fleets.
  • Robbing Climate Change funds and road safety funds for tax cuts to rich people.
  • Allowing 8000 tobacco deaths for tax cuts WHILE GETTING US INTO A COUNTER PRODUCTIVE AMERICAN WAR!!!!

NOW as the shear lie of National not being extremist sinks beneath the surface, it’s Luxon the super strategist chess player Svengali who is playing us all into thinking he’s a weak willed moron when really he is super clever and tricking us.

The right Wing are so in shock at how feckless Luxon is, the apologists are manufacturing him into a Machiavellian mastermind.

The truth is Luxon was a middle manager CEO who ran a mens deodorant company and had the cushy NZ owned Air NZ and has zero political values beyond loving God.

He is being played by David Seymour and Winston Peters.

The Right refuse to accept this and so we get this never ending wardrobe change of a narrative structure trying to explain Luxon to voters.

If there wasn’t so much at stake, it would be sadly funny.

  1. ” had to keep u-turning on things he’d said 24 hours earlier”. Sounds like a politician to me!

It’s hard to know what to hope for. I am not actually clear why he didn’t give Seymour the Treaty role from the outset if he wanted to ‘tie it around his neck’. Unless he was waiting to see how toxic things were before moving. Luxon/National seemed very clear the whole idea was a bad one from the get-go so he should not have needed to wait. More likely they underestimated the level of negative response and freaked out (hence the hospital pass). Did they not think that the timing of Seymour’s treaty fantasy coupled with the ridiculous rubbish around changing back ministry names, and Peters pretending the English language was about to disappear, would have people joining dots (rightly or wrongly)?

I think Seymour talking about tax

  2. The man’s a pizzle, so it doesn’t matter whether it’s his right hand (Winnie) or his left hand (the dweeb) stroking himself, like Alice with a mouthful of mushrooms, he will grow taller.
He hasn’t worked out the corporate brown nosing is different from political schmutz.

  3. Luxon is a perfect example of those who take Christ out of Christianity. A fake, a fraud, and one who spends their time enthralled with the whispers of mammon.

Here Chris a little example of what it means to be a Christian – love thy neighbour – as a leader that means working for the whole country, and not sowing division. And if you really are a Christian, it also means stop dumping on the poor.

      • This shite govenment has already planned or started work on …
        Repealing:
Fair Pay Act – why be reasonable when you can be a scumbag
Excise tax on tobacco and petrol – help fund tax cuts that are not really currently affordable & ensure increases health and environmental costs in the future – just not the next 3 years
Clean Car discount – help the planet burn and assist with more severe and increased frequency of severe weather events – good job!
Spatial planning & natural & build environment Act removed despite substantive research and advise in it’s well thought through development
Amend Overseas Investment Act to allow more foreign investment – make people who were born and live here poorer comparatively – thanks fucktards
Stop s27 Cultural Reports for Offender sentencing – even though this is shown to effectively reduce re-offending
Remove previous prison number reduction targets – just lock them up – it has worked so well previously
Stop all work on He Puapua – because open dialogue is plain silly
Disestablish Maori Health entity – because we know better than Maori do about their own health
Disestablish Te Pukenga – before this has a chance to succeed because a disaggregated tertiary sector is easier to dismantle when it crashes and burns – why educate when this only breeds people capable of telling you your policies are shit

        Re-introduced
90-day work trials – why should employers use due diligence in employing – and if they don’t like you (maybe nothing to do with how you work in the role) they can shed you – no questions asked!
Government austerity – after all it has worked so well previously aye! E.g. Public service cuts across the board – 7-9% per department. I suspect it will end up more than 10% across the board – while at the same time improving Public Services – Yeah Right!
Gang busting policies e.g. no public gang expression. This is certain to fail because it is a breach of human rights – but this government couldn’t care less about these apart from around election time when they become terminal suck ups!

So yes – this government has (un-) done things because this is their strength – destroy progressive policy to the benefit of business interests – human rights? What is that? One of Winston First’s policy suggestions was to get rid of the Human Rights Commission and replace it with the Taxpayers Union.

This government is the KING of the Dumpers.

  4. I remember the deliberate marketing ploy of selling Key to the electorate as a refreshing ” step ” change and a man of the people after Brash was rolled because he was not a politician and was raised in a state house !

Now the usual suspects are using the same tactics with Luxon.

No wonder New Zealand is being sold as a rich listers paradise because the inhabitants are so easily bribed and duped on a regular basis by buying into this deception.

We all know how it turned out last time.
