Restrictions of movement: Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza are under relentless and extreme control over all travel and movement.
Israeli Occupation attacks: Gaza Strip – since the temporary ‘humanitarian truce‘ entered into force in the Gaza Strip, Israeli Occupation forces have failed to completely stop their aggression. Aerial bombardment, shelling by tanks, gunfire and missile strikes as well as attacks by the Israeli Navy have been taking their toll all over Gaza. As the truce ended at 07:00, Friday January 1, the Palestinian Resistance fired dozens of missiles towards the Green Line. Occupation forces continue to invade and position themselves, north and east of Beit Hanoun, north of Beit Lahia and surrounded Jabalia, the Jabalia refugee camp as well as the neighbourhoods of Sheikh Radwan, al-Nasr, al-Rimal, and the beach camp in Gaza City. Occupation forces have resumed their attacks on buildings, facilities and homes.

Israeli Army attack – 1 shot dead: Tubas – 12:40, Israeli troops opended fire on and killed a motorist, Karem Khaled Bani Odeh, near the entrance to the village of Atuf.
Israeli settler attack – agricultural sabotage and population-control: Salfit – 09:35, armed Occupation settlers invaded farmland, west of Kafr al-Dik, cutting down and uprooting ten olive trees, and opening fire towards farmers to force them off their land.
Israeli Army attack – 1 man wounded: Hebron – 12:05, Israeli soldiers opened fire on, wounded and hospitalised a man, Karam Akram Ismail Abu Sneineh, near the annexation Wall outsideIdhna.
Home invasion and forced personal demolition: Jerusalem – 15:00, the Israeli Occupation forced two residents, Ihab Amin Mashal and Mervat Mishal, to destroy their homes in the Jabal Mukaber neighbourhood – or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.
Home invasion: Ramallah – 01:40, Israeli forces raided the village of Deir Abu Ma’ashal and searched a house.
Home invasions and demolitions – widespread vandalism and economic sabotage: Jenin – 12:00, raiding Israeli Occupation forces demolished five homes in the village of Farasin anddestroyed five water storage tanks, an electricity generator, water supply lines and solar panels.

Israeli Army – settlement land-grab order: Bethlehem – Occupation forces issued a land-grabbing order (No. Rj5 413/5/1) seizing, for the benefit of the Ma’ale Amos Occupation settlement,scores of hectares of land belonging to the villages of al-Ta’amra and al-Rashayda.
Occupation settlements land-grab: Salfit – 13:00, in the Khallet Hadidah area, west of Haris village, Occupation forces bulldozed an area of farmland for the building of a settlement road to connect the Barkan and Barkan Industrial Occupation settlements.
Occupation settler violence: Jerusalem – evening, a settler, armed with a knife, was intercepted by Al-Aqsa Mosque guards as he was attempting to invade the mosque grounds.
