Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog,  3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.

EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist language, homophobic language, racist language, anti-muslim hate, transphobic language, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world  and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

But I make an effort to watch Wellington Paranormal (I haven’t got a television in an effort to conserve my last brain cells.)

Jemaine Clement stated in June 2021 that the fourth series was in post-production. He added: “We’re pausing on [Wellington Paranormal], we’re not sure we’ll be back for a fifth [series]”, while discussing a new series that he and Waititi are currently developing.[10]
The fourth series premiered on 16 February 2022.[11]

Note in case you missed it:
…a sixteen-episode digital web series and public service campaign by New Zealand Police to inform the public on health, safety, and best practices during the COVID-19 pandemic, titled Important COVID-19 Messages from Wellington Paranormal, began airing from 26 March 2020, featuring Andrew Coster and Clarke Gayford as themselves.[6] The lead characters also appeared as part of a 2018 New Zealand Police Recruitment video,[7] and four 2018 Police Safety campaign videos.

I think we should support the police more – get them involved in social work, legalise cannabis so that perps don’t feel they are being set up, deal to the meth people who want to drain the guys and girls of their spirit, soul and self-reliance. Control guns better, and force everyone in the country to do something positive for young parents. Now that would produce a nicer society with only a minimum of suicides, murders and mayhem. Not perfect but something positive not dripping with negativity that drives us to drink.”

And watch out that that drink is legit. All we are saying – is Give cannabis a chance. Save your surveillance for the nastier stuff.

  2. Something to take note of. This says bad things about our priorities and how we fund our universities.

    https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/business/491072/east-coast-s-blue-highway-reaches-the-end-of-its-road-as-sh2-reopens
After three months of moving goods along the East Coast by sea rather than road, the government-funded “blue highway” has reached its end.
The coastal container route ran between Gisborne and Napier, an alternative to State Highway 2, which was closed for three months between Napier and Wairoa.

Eastland Port said during that time there were 18 voyages and 294 containers – 233 for the meat industry and 61 for produce – moved between the two ports.
The coastal container service came with significant environmental benefits too, with ship freight emissions being less than 15 percent of road freight.

But Gisborne’s Eastland Port operations manager Andy Kinsella said, with State Highway 2 back open, the companies had told him it was easier and more convenient to use roads….

Make the companies pay for the roads and change tha balance of preference gummint. Stop dribbling into your bibs.

  3. Just seen the Nats’ Fbook post saying they’ll restore law and order. Labour needs to immediately respond with something substantial in that dept. It struck me, so it’s true.

    • When it struck you, did it leave a bruise or mark? Prevention and correction of such an act is the sacred duty of law’n’order.
