  1. Wow! The state of NZ medicine and students… in spite of posing as a fake medical student at Auckland University for 2 years and cutting up bodies, it seems like this man was able to come back to NZ from OZ and then with forged documents, work as a doctor at a busy Auckland DHB.

I guess the NZ globalist culture of don’t worry about training students, we will just buy them in from overseas and not worry too much about fake docs, bad training, sexual harassment, murder, etc.

Same happening with our engineering in NZ! They learnt nothing from the CTV deaths designed by a South African engineer who faked his identity, who was not properly qualified, and was not checked properly by the NZ firm who employed him, and have never been bought to justice for the victims.

A student engineer who lied on her CV and misrepresented herself as a chartered professional engineer has received the maximum fine available under Engineering New Zealand’s membership rules, and has been convicted in the District Court on 38 dishonesty charges.

(note after this slap on the wrist, the convicted dishonesty fraudster was back on fb and the internet, doing engineering work in NZ!)

NZ no longer a safe place to be! Nobody accountable for the amount of fake qualifications and people working in jobs that they have scammed into.

Signs of dysfunction in many NZ departments, full of administrators and hiring crims to do the work.

  2. Woke everywhere in committees – in this case woke thinking driving kids results down, creating a culture of youth crime and disobedience and driving out more teachers who care about student results. I don’t think it’s a sense of entitlement, it is NZ’s woke committees and training that is causing all the problems in education!

“Stuff had a story yesterday about a relief teacher at Mt Maunganui College, who objected to two ten year olds in his class sharing headphones listening to music from a cell phone, and drumming on the table, refusing to stop apparently.

The teacher tried unsuccessfully to take the phone away, so removed an ear bud from one of the students instead. Cue the hanging offence.

This, the committees from on high decreed, was an act of ‘serious misconduct’ and one that could “adversely affect the students wellbeing..”

“The grievous actions of this relief teacher in trying to get a couple of students to pay attention in his class, was labelled by the Teachers Disciplinary Tribunal as.. “actions [that] could bring the teaching profession into disrepute.”

Fighting this through an appeals process, which he lost, has cost this teacher $55,000 so far and he says it could yet cost him another $20,000.

He’s been censured, his teaching registration’s now lapsed and he’s decided to just retire. He said the whole process has been ‘farcical.’”

  3. Scary stuff for NZ research and medicine, then fake doctor fraudster worked for six months in the respiratory clinic.

How many more are out there?

“Police are investigating after the man worked for six months in the respiratory clinic.

A source with connections to the respiratory team told RNZ the incident had been incredibly upsetting for them after a very busy two-and-a-half years on the frontlines of the Covid-19 pandemic.

They felt the deception had been sophisticated, they said.

The man made it look like his recent work experience leaned heavily towards the research side of medicine, rather than seeing patients, they said.

They said his colleagues initially noticed he was falling short on the clinical aspects of his work but tried to help, thinking he was getting used to dealing directly with patients again.

However, they said they then realised large parts of his work were not up to standard.

RNZ understands the man saw about 70 to 80 patients in the six months.”

    • savenz All I have read fromyou indicates to me that you are a person with quality thinking skills and trustworthy opinions. Thanks for your valuable input to be found amongst the driftwood that comes down with the flood.

  4. If I was the Greens I would stand some high class (to use nationals words) candidates in the Maori seats and push for the party vote.

  5. The petition to get rid of the Russian Ambassador should be ignored we have too many foreigners coming here telling us what we should and should not do. Add to that we have too many foreign voices demanding a number of things but namely health related treatment for them or their children when we can’t even look after people born here and at a time when inequalities and equity issues are rife. The petition to change NZ to Aotearoa was ignored as have many other petitions with much more signatures.

    • I don’t like any of the big powers and even some of the smaller ones are not so good. The USA want to intervene in our trading partner arrangements with China and Russia. We have managed to keep trading with Russia over past decades, and have traded butter for Lada cars in a barter deal. They aren’t worse than USA, just different. Now that we have managed to resile on our very good status for being a country of good laws and probity, we
shouldn’t worry about how we will be regarded if we go our own way, just what economic problems will result. Everyone knows we are not 100% pure FGS. And our helping diversity through immigration and refugees is not just to be good. People coming here can’t bring their arguments and problems and expect us to stand up like shining knights on their behalf. We may try but we are fairly dusty if not grimy and have limited time to make a case in the spotlight before our batteries run out.

Russian – Ukrainian people are carrying on a long-term battle, this is only the latest. It suits western influences to play up to the volatile news of handy real-life dramatic footage at cinematic level, resulting from the lack of diplomatic assurances meant and kept that have resulted in bare-faced aggression. That unfortunately is not new. I haven’t forgotten the Brit advisor who decided to commit suicide when Blair obsequiously said he would follow USA in invading in the Middle East and indeed did, after the World Trade Centre crushing tragedy embarrassed the Yanks.

  6. Thinking about Trade Me. Developed by a team with Sam Morgan, son of TOPs Gareth Morgan. Of course soon sold off to someone entity that sold it to another that sold it to another, the price going up all the time. (And not been stopped from charging commission on total price of auctions sold plus shipping costs (on books anyway). Which seems like a scam, price gouging by the latest owners.) But that is digressing.

The site seems to me still a genuine snapshot of how a good NZ society could operate. It has rules to keep people on the straight and narrow, feedback loops and some trust with advice on how not to be scammed, and some backups against that. Other sites have not been able to equal it I that I have noticed anyway. I have got to know some of these invisible trading people, and some have physical sites, and there can be quiet, friendly, camaraderie. Could we get out country back on the rails, and have a similar experience in the world at large again?? Please.

However we do need to change things about our democratic political system that seems oblivious to the fact that the management are encouraging voracious insects, almost locusts, into the country through our open borders and laissez faire minds, and they will eat us lock, stock and barrel till we are stripped! Then might use us for bombing practice as in the Marshall Islands. And it could be a combination of Great Nations that did this. We and the Falkland Islands could be loss leaders of a sad kind.
