Chanelle Maree Graham-Ashby was initially charged with infecting a person with a disease over the incident on 1 March this year.
The 23-year-old ultimately admitted a reduced charge of offensive behaviour in relation to the incident sparked by a police call out to an early morning fracas in a suburban Nelson street.
Graham-Ashby was found yelling at a neighbour, enraged and holding up a cellphone in a way which showed she planned to smash it.
The neighbour, who was alarmed by noises she was hearing next door, had stepped outside and was seen by Graham-Ashby to phone the police. The action prompted Graham-Ashby to wrench the phone from her neighbour, hurting her arm in the process.

Chanelle is such a feminine name. But is she a pure woman or a mixed-up one? When are people in NZ going to be taught how to handle anger and feelings of distress? It’s just wasted energy having a go at others. Perhaps the angry and violent should be detained at home with a special bicycle that charges up a battery power unit which they can invest their anger energy in. Then they can have a cup of tea made with their own special energy, and cook dinner with it, light and heat the house. That’d larn them – do something useful with it. I write ideas to TDB but have to stop, think and direct my anger to do that.

In this case – what a hopeless mother. Her freedom to have children and abuse them and not be a role model of a decent adult should be curtailed with long-term contraceptives. Freedom comes at a cost we should not forget that. If we don’t want to have overbearing rules, controls and punishments they need to be replaced with our own self-control. People fought and died in awful wars to give us freedom, but it is expected that we use freedom wisely and not start our own small wars on others, especially our vulnerable children.

Labour wanted what should be a public kindergartens run under control to change and become a profitable business which should be done efficiently as possible. There are certain set requirements but a country that can’t even ensure that buildings are erected to correct specifications can’t expect to achieve satisfaction with anything involving human beings if run as a business.

But this consideration of caring is past thinking; humans in NZ are regarded now as a business resource. At present hospitals are still public and people put their heart into their tasks involved in looking after people, but watch government try to change that. The firefighters are being squeezed and required to be available to act as ambulance workers as well as firefighters. Volunteer firefighters who were prepared to do public work controlling fires and helping people at a fire are being stretched unreasonably, even paid and permanent workers are.

    From the report:
In general, our volunteers tend to carry a higher level of responsibility, as they work to fight fires and respond to medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, weather events and natural disasters. The level of training and professionalism required of volunteer firefighters, the potential dangers they face, the trust they place in other volunteers, the unpredictable time requirements, and the emotionally challenging incidents they attend all make being a Fire and Emergency volunteer a unique voluntary role.

It’s my idea that NZ is trying to save money by loading volunteers with tasks and have added attending motor vehicle accidents additionally. I hope the above links are right, time for some food I think.
