The issue is being politicised in the extreme talking us in my opinion backwards.
The Maori party are just doing what every other party do. Talk to their voters. They don’t need white votes. They need the people on the Maori roll to know that the Maori party are 100% concerned with Maori issues and promoting a maori perspective.
if they don’t need ‘white votes’ why co-governance and specifically reserved maori seats…not saying either is bad..just you can’t have it both ways.
