  1. Those protesters who have gone to Wainuiomata Marae will meet there match Wainuiomata is a very strong socially cohesive community and our Olsen whanau from Tolaga Bay who run this Marae will not stand for it nor will the rest of this community.

  2. Europe’s largest nuclear plant is on fire, under attack.
    The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, the largest of its kind in Europe, was on fire early on Friday after an attack by Russian troops, the mayor of the nearby town of Energodar said.

    “If it blows up, it will be 10 times larger than Chornobyl! ” – c/p, Ukraine’s foreign minister tweet.

    Firefighters unable to extinguish blaze at nuclear plant
    Firefighters have not started extinguishing a fire at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant due to ongoing Russian shelling, the town’s mayor has said, according to Nexta channel.

    The plant was set ablaze earlier, after an attack by Russian troops, Energodar’s Mayor Dmytro Orlov said.

    Russian troops are “firing from all sides” at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant that is aflame, Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.

    “If it blows up, it will be 10 times larger than Chornobyl!,” he warned on Twitter, referring to the site of another plant where radioactivity is still leaking from history’s worst nuclear disaster 36 years ago.
