  1. Earthquake prone building owners have their hand out to our government why should our taxes go on private owners building this is and would not be fair.

  2. Christ @ Martyn. With all this pile on today and yesterday, has anyone checked whether Ali More is OK?
I’m not sure Mex Headroom from 1 News (YOUR news) would be the best person to approach the subject.
Perhaps Pollie Gillespie could have a quiet word – or even Rosie Mc – the old school wanna-be hippie who surprisingly spouts a bit of sense from time to time )
I mean THINK OF THE FUCKING CHILDREN!!! I’m rilly rilly concerned about how they might cope. Rilly I am!
Pfft, nex. There are better things and specimens to spend my emotional capital on – in that space, going forward

National Party could make a list of totally unsatisfactory practices and inadequacies in NZ to have Royal Commissions about and find they were complicit in 90% of them. Then change to being full-on Republicans.

What about a Commission on National agreeing with NZ signing a trade treaty with wide powers and an overseeing legal body made up of business lackeys, financiers and management accountants with overseas corps having deep pockets, compared to what NZ could find,. John Key to be the closet advisor no doubt.
The hindering effect on NZ progress and nationally-held wealth of that ever-present threat cannot be estimated.
