NZ government seem to believe that overseas or offshore NZ citizen owned large pine forests and buying carbon credits offshore will offset our terrible pollution policies in NZ led by poor construction and land practises, huge landfill and plastic increases into NZ, private sales and environmental mis-use, public neglect of state owned land instead of maximising state use for biodiversity and carbon credits, sunset industries like tourism and hospitality being subsidised constantly with wage subsidies, labour subsidies and WFF propping up poor skills and poor wages in an industry that seems to be enabling massive pollution, obesity and waste and war on sustainable farming while increasing intensive farming in NZ with many polluting large scale RMA applications and poor animal welfare situations proceeding in NZ under Labour. Likewise the green lighting of asset transfers overseas or to ‘new citizens’ to NZ who don’t actually pay their world taxes in NZ or even seem to live or work here.
NZ government seems to be addicted to questionable science and motivation that does not look at the complete picture.

Labeen have somehow managed to make housing and renters even worse off by their war on small scale middle class landlords that they love to sneer at, and hopes and dreams that big business developers and bizarre woke/right wing led immigration policies (165,000 more visas to be granted this year on top of all the hundreds of thousands granted previously who don’t seem to have bought any skills into NZ but instead seem to be taking resources away with high needs people and people who fly back to NZ to use our health system with Covid for free and pick up a another property or two before flying out of NZ.
They can’t work out why the migrants who are experts in their fields like medicine, don’t stay either, but the cash, low paid workers that can access free NZ state money and resources, are flooding in!

I’m finding it harder to understand how at least one or two of those work-life balanced senior high-salaried public ‘SERVANTS’ continue to hold their jobs. They’ve done nothing that is a public service and now have a heap of failures under their ever expanding belts.
A couple of them appear to have attended the Peter Dutton School of Bigotry, Fikniss and Othering. (But never mind, they’ve got a following and a bit of sycophantic praise from one or two underlings who’re thoroughly work-life balanced, uber-ambitious, and who don’t have a problem with work-life-balance applying only to themselves and not their underlings or the public they’re supposed to serve.
There’s a big hint there however in the name ‘public service’ – or EVEN ‘civil’ service. They’re not in anyway oriented towards a public, and they’re certainly not civil.
Once again though – MORE FUCKING FOOL the elected responsible Ministers. So far, I’ve only detected a couple of Munsters that are beginning to grasp the idea that one or two of their ‘officials’ aren’t necessarily their frenz.
Rarely!!!, I can think of two occasions when I’m in agreement with RNZ’s former boffin from the right, former student of philosophical thought and Epsom resident with increasing wealth he is thanking the socialist JA for (Matty Dear).
The first was when he looked at an MBIE briefing to incoming Munsters under the last election waltz. Effectively, it probably should have been written in crayon. I read it too and it reminded me of one of Stevie Joyce and Jonathan Coleman’s efforts on advice from on of their cocksuckers responsible for the creation of their vision of Utopia.
The second was his comments on “The Working Group” Episode 2.

YESTERDAY, I walked past an MSD office several times and happened to notice a very tall, bearded, bare-footed bloke who obviously had issues – not the least of which was that a blind fool in a hurry could have noticed that he was destitute – and I mean fucking destitute!. Despite his height and obviously an ectomorph, to me, he was beginning to look a little gaunt. I had understood this caring and sharing government was anxious to wrap a load of services around people like ‘him’ – THAT there other fella. There might have even been a problem with his having English as a second language. I suppose I should have listened more closely.
I suspect all he was wanting to do was to make an appointment to see some case worker so that he could beg in a more dignified way, rather in a shop doorway on a Friday or Saturday night.
He never got past the door because the security guard outside phoned the supposedly concerned and ready to wrap whatever shit they deemed necessary gatekeeper around him had given the guard their edict.
“Go online bro or call some 0800 number” to book an appointment. HOW.THE.FUCK.WAS.THIS.FELLA.GOING.TO DO.THAT?!!!!!! Somewhere there must be an app to assist I suppose if only that chap could go d-d-d-d-d-digital in his space, going forward.
THEN TODAY! Someone I act as what would be best described as sponsor for. I’d understood the new improved MSD was going to be more caring and sharing. Four fucking pages of utter shite sent to this individual to determine whether or not his circumstances had changed.
No they haven’t and nor are they likely to:
STILL hasn’t touched a drop in over 30 plus years;
STILL manages his finances well;
STILL plans ahead a puts aside money in case something happens – like car repairs or replacement;
STILL monitors his power bill and keeps ahead of it and is grateful for the corporate welfare winter energy subsidy;
STILL has the same medicines and doctors visits in order to stay alive;
STILL has all his marbles and a good deal more of life’s experiences than your average MSD case worker primed to tick as many boxes as can be;
AND STILL cares deeply about others in his immediate community less fortunate.

They have been outwardly empathetic for quite some time by the way to all but their responsible ministers. Better call in some more media consultancy and work-life-balance advisors because it’s starting to look like a UK FCDO debacle with Peter Dutton chairing the Select Committee. I want some of their stink because I’m thinking of becoming really entrepreneurial and setting up a mushroom farm and hopefully Nikki and Meg can give me a hand with the bizzniss pols and meerkating. From what I’ve researched so far, Mushrooms and rhubard are good companions

Don’t bet on the MSM reporting it tho’, other than the likes of Gill Bonnett and others at RNZ; A Morrah in the Shub, a Fonseka and a few others, and of course various contributors to this site that a hapless Munster has no fucking idea how to deal with
