six weeks and they kill them
https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/in-depth/455865/pressure-on-takeaway-chains-as-domino-s-ditches-fast-chickens
ive been appalled by that for quite some time now and
a change to slow growing chickens’ not enough either is only an extra 2 weeks ?! . .
but feels so bloody good that things are changing at long last
they should get at least a full life – 3 , 4 years . . even killing bobby calves i think should stop . .
wasn’t a big consumer of it anyhow but haven’t eaten kfc chicken for what could be well over a year now . .
ive always believed the ‘ market that will destroy these things
not climate change mitigation –
they’re already making ice cream out of synthesized protein – i don’t think anyone will care about the absence of dairy .
https://www.tvnz.co.nz/shows/milk-and-money/episodes/s1-e6 ( 6 :25 )
as TDB have pointed out once lab made protein ramps up , could be trouble for NZ
