I have contributed last time and may well contribute again. Just as hint (something I learnt in business)…there was no acknowledgement of my contribution. I don’t want it splattered all over the media, but even an automated response would have been nice. Instead…nothing…zilch…so how do I know it even arrived in your account?

Hard to believe that mainstream media and their spinoffs aka The spinoff gets big government funding while The Daily Blog who has been going a lot longer and seems to be more mindful of vulnerable people always misses out. Sounds political!!!
People who regularly read TDB should be prepared to make a monthly donation. I don’t think saying one doesn’t have any money is an excuse for most people. In the old days, if someone used a product, they were prepared, and expected, to pay for it for the obvious reason that otherwise it wouldn’t be produced any more, therefore depriving them of something they enjoyed. The Internet has turned all of us into freeloaders.
