White House cites ‘deep concerns’ about WHO Covid report, demands early data from China
WASHINGTON — The White House on Saturday called on China to make available data from the earliest days of the Covid-19 outbreak, saying it has “deep concerns” about the way the findings of the World Health Organization’s coronavirus report were communicated.
White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said in a statement that it is imperative that the report be independent and free from “alteration by the Chinese government”, echoing concerns raised by the administration of former President Donald Trump, who also moved to quit the WHO over the issue.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Friday said all hypotheses are still open about the origins of Covid-19, after Washington said it wanted to review data from a WHO-led mission to China, where the virus first emerged.
A WHO-led mission, which spent four weeks in China looking into the origins of the Covid-19 outbreak, said this week that it was not looking further into the question of whether the virus escaped from a lab, which it considered highly unlikely
…the question of where and how this virus spread is essential to stopping it happening again but there is the also the issue of blame.
If Chinese behaviour once the virus was spreading exacerbated that spread to the West, many countries will be demanding compensation, for a regime where face saving is paramount, such an admission isn’t acceptable.
That the Biden Administration is doubling down on Trump’s strategy suggests America’s position on China has dramatically hardened since Obama.

China got onto it pretty fast, much faster than most other Western governments.
The US and UK response for example was slack as, demonstrating if the virus had first been found in London or New York, their response would have been nowhere near as good as China’s.

Let’s be 100 percent clear. These mofos would invade the entire world, including China, if they had the power to. Its precisely because of the rise of China, and Russia, that US imperialism is not as rampant as it otherwise would be.
The only way we’re gonna stop these viruses happening again is if we stop brutalising, abusing and torturing animals. How much has the media anywhere even focused on this as the cause of the bloody plague? Hardly anyone. The Guardian has a few noteworthy articles on it, Dr Jane Goodall came out and said it on Aljazeera, otherwise we have to search the fringe vegan/animal rights media to find discussion of it.
The reason for this silence? Because the brutalising, abusing and torturing of animals is the accepted norm in every human society, the basis of the fucking economy (alongside fossil fuels) and the central source of food for the culturally brainwashed billions, many of whom believe animals were put here by their behemoth skyfather for us to brutalise, abuse and torture.
If we can believe anything coming out of China it seems Xi Xingping has closed down thousands of the horrendous ‘wet markets’ but I’m sure they are never going to allow too much Western scrutiny of their animal abusing ways. SARS-COV-2 could have originated anywhere. There is zero evidence whatsoever that it originated in China. For example, it was found to be circulating in Lombardy in DEC 2019, and was found in wastewater samples in Spain in MAR 2019. The virus could have come from the USA for all we know!! So what is this about ‘blame’ again?
