It’s fairly accurate – except when it gets to
“Wellington is returning to its traditional role of guiding not only the economic levers of the nation, but is actively seeking to direct the cultural direction of those who reside within its jurisdiction. And for most of us this feels right.”
It may be doing its best to return to that “traditional role” but I’m not so sure that for a growing number of people “this feels right”. It’s probably more to do with the fact that it’s all they know or are prepared to experience (BAU)
” Treasury has lost its neo-liberal zeitgeist ”
Damien Grant wouldnt know his arseole from his elbow. He clearly has to much time on his hands filling up the Herald with a nostalgic look at the recent past to entertain the gentry. Douglas and his rich mans revolution is still very much in control of Adern’s administration of kindness.
