Promising tax cuts for the middle classes that will raid the budget for another Covid outbreak which hurts the working classes most is disgusting and mercenary in the extreme, but fucking the numbers up so that you don’t really have the money to give away in the first place is like being tempted into a strangers van with sweeties only to find out its a bag of dog shit!
I expect my middle class tax bribes to come with a side order of selfish indulgence, not canine faeces!
National are trying to sell themselves as the better political managers, but how can that be when they can’t even get their numbers right?

NZ Election 2020: National’s $4 billion fiscal hole has gotten even bigger
Newshub can reveal a new error message has appeared in the National Party’s fiscal planning: that irritating hole has gotten even bigger.
On Sunday it was revealed National used the wrong numbers in calculating how much it would save from halting NZ Super Fund contributions, which resulted in a $4 billion fiscal hole.
National Party leader Judith Collins was confident on Monday that there were no other errors in the fiscal plan and that her finance spokesperson Paul Goldsmith had double-checked.
“Paul Goldsmith has checked and he hasn’t found any other mistakes and nor has anyone else,” she said.
But Newshub has.
National has made the same mistake with its capital allowance, that’s the money put aside to build things like schools and hospitals. Goldsmith took his numbers from May’s Budget, giving himself $18.63 billion from next year until 2027.
But in last week’s Pre-Election Fiscal Update (PREFU) the numbers changed, with only $18.542 billion available over that time, leaving National with another shortfall of $88 million.
…so that’s $4billion + $88million they don’t have?
And this was after they double checked it!
Look, you may love the National Party, it may be in your blood and they espouse all the political philosophies that you live by – but no one with honour could look at the omnishambles and scumbaggery that National have displayed over the last inane 6 months and be proud of belonging or voting for these clowns.
This is why we will see more National Party voters voting National as their candidate and Labour as their Party vote than ever before in New Zealand political history.
Jacinda isn’t looking at an unprecedented MMP majority victory just because she’s shown incredible leadership and communication skills, it’s also because National are a self mutilating cavalcade of political mutants masquerading as a team.

We already know we have many selfish, greedy people that will vote for themselves. And this lot don’t care about the rest of our team of 5 million that have made the ultimate sacrifices to keep this virus at bay. They need to think about the consequences of their vote. Who wants to open our borders and bring in more people putting us all at a greater risks. Yes the economy is important, but its no good having money when thousand could be dying all around us. People need to keep looking and listening to what is happening all around the world. And people to ask themselves why do so many people want to come here and why are so many people returning that didn’t want to live here before the covid outbreak.

Truth is polling is clearly so bad they just made this tax cut up with virtually no research whatsoever to try and jump start the corpse that is their campaign. Hence the woeful mistakes they have made.
I’m also going to guess the Saharan dry Goldsmith will be uber pissed off with his leader because I’m guessing this is her Hail Mary clusterfuck idea.
Desperation is all there is now and any “policy” they trot out or have put forward should be laughed at and ignored. It cannot be taken seriously!
