Winston thrashes around for political relevancy again – a vote for NZF is a vote for National

That sound you hear is Winston Peters desperately thrashing around to find political relevance this election…

Election 2020: It’s a ‘disservice’ to say New Zealand hasn’t done well with Covid-19, says Prime Minister

The Prime Minister has hit back at Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters for saying New Zealand was “gilding the lily” about its response to Covid-19.

Jacinda Ardern said New Zealand had done “exceptionally well”.

“I think we do a disservice to every single New Zealander whose been part of that team effort if we don’t acknowledge that.

“I think we need to take into account, relative to other countries, how well New Zealanders have done and the results that have been generated.”

…tell your story walking Winnie.

With Labour polling stratospherically, NZ First know they are politically irrelevant and in their desperation are preparing to jump ship to the right in some hope that could buoy their political fortunes.

It’s the same political desperation that dumped Bridges for Muller and replaced Muller for Judith.

I don’t think it’s going to save NZ First or National.

If you vote NZ First this election, you do it knowing NZF are going with National.

To which I say,

Na na. Na na na na.

Hey hey hey.

Goodbye!

Good riddance to political rubbish.

    • No, we need examples of how not to build minor parties into a major party. I disrespect this thing called a Weka which is an author on a lesser leftwing blog. Anyway, this lesser leftwing blog has been promoting the idea that the Greens operate outside of government and they’ve literally trained and curated there the whole flock to those standards and I’m like bitch no, you have to train as if you are in government. But know theorists and their theories have to crash bicycles to scrap there knees just to signal to everyone that they’ve done something, of significance.

  1. Not a good photo of Winston

….but he wont be complaining it is racist because he is not a wokie… although heavens above he has had to put up with covert racism and misrepresentation over the years, when NZF has stood for not selling off State Assets and supporting NZ workers rights

( NZF has not and are not and have never been globalists and neoliberals)

Lets hope NZF patriots get in because they have enabled with gravitas Jacindas Labour Government this time …and Labour Governments in the past …and brought down the National Government

  2. ” Greens were hijacked by big business interests and is now a phony remains of a once great party when Rod Donald and Jeannette Fitzsimmoms lead it in the early 2000’s. sad end to watch ”
Yeah there is some truth to that i have never thought Shaw was the real Green deal.
How many corporate participants have had an epiphany and joined the Green movement, bugger all.
The Green party membership must take control quickly and remove the current leadership and put Chloe in the driving seat.
The next Labour led government MUST have the Green party in a coalition partnership with the advancement of its current excellent policy positions.
NO genuine Green party MP or supporter would have ever championed this idea let alone funded it.
This is a hatchet job and the kind that neoliberals love.

  3. The mainstream media are doing another stitch up job and his time its the Greens turn. The Green school project seems like a good idea its not coming from the education budget, it provides jobs and revenue to this area but the media and National have played public schools of against the Greens and this project.
Chucky strikes again comes to mind. Go! Chloe win your seat and shut these f… s up.

  4. In the mid-90s my late parents and I voted for NZ First.
We were fooled by Winston Peters in his pre-election promise that he would not enter into a government with National.
We had seen for a number of years the destruction the Bolger and then later Shipley government had done to New Zealand and we didn’t want a repeat performance of that destruction e.g Jim Bolger had promised 900 extra Police in the NZ Police. That happened through a later merge of the MOT with the NZ Police.
But for Winston and once the votes had been counted he became an eager bed-fellow for National.
The rest is history but since then I cannot trust Winston Peters. Whilst for a short period of time I respected him I hold neither attitude towards him anymore. He is opportunistic and self serving. Much like many National MPs past and present.
For Winston I feel his days in the sun in politics are well and truly over. I don’t bother listening to his thoughts and comments. I have completely switched off from him
If he enters into an alliance with National this time he may as well kiss his credibility a sweet goodbye. If he holds ego and money for himself as being more important then he does not merit votes.
Mind you I must thank him for Kiwi-saver even though it took me many years to finally use it.
