Sigh – another day, another Green Party revelation over their Jedi Academy

The Green Party Jedi Academy resembles the Ewok village from the Moon of Endor.

Just when you didn’t think the unbelievable $12m spent on a magical Jedi Academy for Green elites couldn’t get any worse.

Oh it just did…

Green co-leader James Shaw refused to sign-off on $3bn of infrastructure projects unless Green School was included

Newshub can reveal just how hard Green Party co-leader James Shaw advocated for the $11.7 million promised to the privately-owned Green School in Taranaki.

The Green School was one of 150 projects getting a piece of a $3 billion pie – the shovel-ready infrastructure fund – and Shaw was willing to put them all at risk.

Newshub has obtained an email that went to Government ministers and the Treasury from Shaw’s office and it included a stark ultimatum.

“Minister Shaw won’t sign this briefing until the Green School in Taranaki is incorporated.”

…what the fuck?

Shaw threatened to not sign off on a $3billion infrastructure package if he didn’t get his wanky Jedi Academy with its cocooned class rooms that look like the Ewok village on Endor?

This private school charges $40 000 a year!

That’s the wackiest, richest, wokest, most magical crystal loving Harry Potter Environmental Wizard School in the country and James was threatening to stop $3billion in urgent job creating projects to make sure the Jedi Wank Academy got its $12million?

Jesus wept!

No wonder Labour dropped him right in it when it was made public…

…what on earth are they doing?

The bloody Saudi Sheep Bribe that Murry McCully was embroiled in only cost $4million! Why do we have to blow $12m so tomorrows Environmental Hermione Granger can add a notch in her CV for their inevitable run at the UN?

Isn’t there a cheaper way we can waste this cash?

I fear that journalists will be pouring over the curriculum of this school and find all sorts of crazy arsed shit dressed up as education.

I see many Green Activists on Twitter today running around with the latest Roy Morgan Poll claiming they are on 11.5% and I’d like to warn that Roy Morgan was one of the worst Polls in 2017 and have always over polled the Greens.

I think the Greens are in survival mode this election and I don’t think they know it.

  1. Bhahahahaha LOL. So tell me how many $12 million decisions you all make by having a quick surf on someone’s internet site? There is obviously more to this story as ol’ dopey indicated yesterday and I have a funny feeling Labour is going to get a kicking as well before this is all said and done.

I dare suggest Journalists are doing digging on the shareholders/stakeholders and their political links as we speak.

    • Frank the Tank: “I dare suggest Journalists are doing digging on the shareholders/stakeholders and their political links as we speak.”

The line of questioning on Morning Report this morning suggested something of this nature. And journalists either suspect, or have already discovered, that there are links to the Green party parliamentarians.

I don’t watch much TV nowadays, but I saw that piece on TV3 last night, and I laughed uproariously. Groundhog day: it looks so very similar to Turei’s situation prior to the 2017 election, does it not? It appears that the Greens cannot help themselves. Not that it bothers me one whit: the Greens lost my vote a long time ago.

  2. James cocked up big time. He also did what many M.P.s should do but don’t, he apologised. You can see why M.P’s are reluctant to do so as now the likes of Collins is calling for his head.
Admission of guilt is a sin and why Brownlee( Christchurch earthquake rebuild) and Collins( Kauri swamp logs, Oravida, Whailoil and dirty politics)will never admit guilt.
James stuffed up, but at least has integrity.

    • When you don’t have competence I guess the best you can hope for is integrity. It’s not like he could have done anything else though with the cupboard in the attic with already full with Kelvin and Phil in there

    • Sorry sparky, integrity would have not involved doing this in the first place.
All politicians are corrupt to some level, its just the degree of which that varies.
It doesn’t make him a bad guy. I would like to think that I could resist the corrupting forces of having all that power, but I cannot state categorically that I could.
I don’t think many politicians enter parliament with nefarious intent.
But little by little, they sell their soul.

    • As long as that investment comes with high paying jobs for the domestic market. As long as the community owns 100% of the benefits then it doesn’t matter who pays for it.

  3. Even better, Hipkins was set up in Parliament by Nicola Willis today when she asked if he knew about the project. National already had the leaked email in their hands, so they have the proof he lied to Parliament.

Question time should be fun today!

    • NZ1st fucks Labour. Labour fucks The Greens. Greens fuck themselves. National/Act deny they’ve all got pornhub subscription. Then we fuck everyone and we all fuck forever. The end.

    • Well nothing new here, the National party and leaks. I’ll record parliament because Willis is so lightweight.

Oh and another thing Andrew as you appear new to the game THEY ALL LIE!

  4. Beat up on Shaw continues, yawn. He is defiantly not the worst offender in the Green Party.

The 3 billion on Roads, Roads, Roads, or more roadworks, more roadworks, more roadworks, is ultimately worse spending, that COL voted on, in a nod to the Natz ideology.

Yep, I’m against $40k per child private schools being funded by the government but there has been worst offences by the political parties… for example as well as the atrocity from Tarrent, taxpayers now pay $5k per day for his prison stay for the rest of his life…. surely stopping and limiting criminals from coming into NZ to damage our society, would be a popular policy but nope, people can come into NZ and when they offend we still pander to them, pay for their prison stays and justice costs, give them compassionate leave for NZ citizenship and permanent residency and make the taxpayers pay for them rather than health care for locals.

NZ has enough local criminals to cater to and rehabilitate, and adding more and more into NZ from around the world with free residency needs to be looked at for the massive costs to NZ society going forward in the global, Covid economy.

It concerns me that the left get hung up on smaller mistakes for weeks a ‘green school’, while massive and escalating issues that create real victims in NZ like criminal activity that could be avoided, as well as costs, are ignored or even encouraged.

    • Its not a beat up, its a pretty fucking serious abuse of power.
Can we please stop minimising the left’s transgressions just because the right are a bunch of wankers?
It is a slippery slope whereby anything “our” side does is ok as long as it aint as bad as the other lot.
I’m pretty sure that’s how the American political landscape ended up where it is.

  5. Well, I guess it just maybe ‘Shaw’ has an acute sense of timing.
He as well as all the other failed Green party MP’s can take a class at this school to learn how to clean the wharepaku. They’ll have at least the next 3 years to get plenty of experience and possibly a certificate at the end of this.

  6. I said to Chloe Swarbrick once:
You want to see an instant and collective trouser shitting spectacle out of the Natzo’s?
Then woo the farmer away from the farmer enslaving foreign bankster debt and agri-chemical pimps The Natzo’s.
Instead? Did she say ” Ooooooo fama’s Ooooooooo….???? I’ve heard of them? Not really arty tho aye? Are they the ones out the back of the supermarkets magically conjuring up pre packaged foods an’ that for us to buy and eat as they dance naked around a bubbling cauldron…? And I hear on RNZ that what’s supposed to be ‘land’ between cities is really an ancient myth to keep people in the cities to stop them from wandering off and falling over the edge of what’s surely a flat earth? Is that them? ”
The Green Party. They’re either infested with Machiavellian confederate Natzo’s or they’re dumb as fuck.

      • To instantly transform NZ society with technology (contact tracing) will be harmful and destructive. Religions will spawn, inquisitions, corruption. Now that we have been shaken out of our moral towers we must balance the needs of society with the needs of the individual. There must be rules, guidelines, enforcement that can take any sort of shmuck, anyone indeed and set them off on the path to salvation so that our emotions do not overwhelm our good judgments.

    • Country boy- Dumb as fuck, but don’t know it. So are many MP’s.Combined with a lack of common sense and emotional intelligence, they are becoming a menace.

While back I looked up the creds of an irritating Labour MP, and read, “Health papers from the University of Waikato.” What the hell’s that meant to mean ? That we dumbos will think that dumbo is doctor? Or worse, that they think they’re the equivalent of a bona fide medical doctor ?

Further back, listened to a Nat activist say her diploma in home science was the same as a university science degree. She believed it. Not that Unis produce genii – but they do have the potential to enlighten – or did.

Someone commented here that some MP’s have never had real jobs. Looking at Davidson – as a convenient example – and her work history, I don’t know if she has a clue what constitutes real work, and the hard grind of everyday life for many decent honest people. If she did, then she may be less inclined to categorise white NZ’ers as baddies, but I doubt she has the smarts, or the humility.

Good word, humility. My old Irish peasant grandmother had an abundance of it, and would have been a more realistic politician than most of our lot, nor played victim hood, one of the currently efficacious political ploys.

Diversity in the school system is greatly to be desired, eccentricity welcomed, and lunatics not necessarily
any madder than anybody else. But 100% honesty in all political undertakings has to be the bottom line. Reading Nicky Hager’s works researching N Z politics, we see too many slippery eels, and sod the Greens if they’re as bad as the others – none of whom are in the position to be biffing stones around anyway.

  7. It’d be funny if it wasn’t so sad. Here’s me thinking about jumping ship from party vote Labour to Green, because that’d be the best way of returning Labour to its roots. I’ve never voted (party vote) Green, though I’ve delivered pamphlets for them and acted as a scrutineer once (when Labour were being thoroughly
u s e l e s s (in that election, Labour had no scrutineers and the gNatz had half a dozen real estate agent look-alikes parked up in the polling station on their cellphones and generally being crass and obvious of their intent.
The more I think about it, things will probably have to get worse before they get better, though I hope to be surprised.
The Greens are too busy being wet and woke – and obviously that’s more important than their policies.
And Labour still haven’t twigged to where their real threat lays even though the evidence is stuffed so far up their virally-affected noses, I think even the most sophisticated swab test would return a false negative.

Good things take time, Rome wasn’t built in a day, Mother Earth burns and the Chardonnay grape crop will be harvested at all costs – with slave labour if necessary

  8. But you still want them in parliament right?
I’m not seeing a big difference between them an Winston or National right now.

    • Well sparky look harder, at the moment one is dealing with the virus, the other isn’t. In the years to come we will be able to judge this Governments response to Covid to National and Gerry’s response to the Christchurch rebuild. We”ll be able to judge Twyfords faux pa’s to Collin’s ACC faux pa’s, Brownlees EQC recovery, to Nick Smith’s clean waterways faux pa’s, to multiple National M.P.’s and members leaking New Zealanders privacy details.
If you’re not seeing a big difference between them and Winston or National right now, then I suggest you may want to do more research. What would happen with National in charge? First question, would Oravida get a free pass at the border, how many deaths are National prepared to sacrifice for the economy and would Tiwai be bailed out, after Bill English stated categorically “this is the last time”?

  9. Like ACT is the right-wing protest vote, the Greens are the protest left-wing vote. Like ACT, most of Greens policy is both unrealistic and unworkable, and they really only exist to get fringe voters to bother voting and have them feel represented via coalitions agreements from the two major parties. In other words, utterly pointless.

  10. I think James will be gone after this election, whether the Greens stay in Parliament or not. To stuff up one election is bad. To stuff up two looks like criminal negligence. Shaw really should have resigned after the last election. He was only saved because everyone got on board to save the day for the party. The series of stuff ups at the last election would have looked like internal sabotage if one didn’t know better. Now this election only underlines the point that James suffers from poor judgement.

  11. Not a good day for the Selfish Left.

The Greens, the enablers of the Selfish Left, will never be criticised by the Selfish Leftwing bloggers (who vote for Selfish reasons)
