Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

The poor mans Tova O’Brien, Heather du Plessis-Allan, has just penned a column from the ZB Troll farm on the NZ Herald claiming that after 10 years of hating on the Left, SHE DOESN’T TRUST LABOUR ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Covid 19 coronavirus: Heather du Plessis-Allan – I no longer trust Government to keep virus out

How on earth has this happened? How has a right wing Harpy whose entire partisan hack career has always sided with the rich and the elites while constantly shitting on the Left suddenly lose her faith in Labour?

Isn’t this the same hard right clown who only last month was calling NZers cowards for not flinging open the borders?

HDPA is always claiming Labour are about to lose the Election, I fear of Jacinda wins in October HDPA may need to go on self harm watch!

HDPA losing faith in Labour is like the NZ Herald losing faith in balanced commentary.

  1. Writing as a Registered Nurse, viruses can’t be “kept out” of the country. We constitute untold numbers of viruses & bacteria than most would realise. They are needed for our health’s sake.
Most who die are 60y.o.+, & they die OF their “co-morbidities” – not from the Covid-19. There’s plentiful info about “all this” on the Internet. Read Rancourt & Russell Blaylock for starters – the latter especially for truth about the uselessness & dangers of masks. The records re the deaths world-wide include those who died WITH COVID-19, NOT OF IT.
I know how to look after myself far better than any doctor could tell me: I’ve not had a cold or the flu since 1983.

    • Registered nurses should respect their Ministry of Health and not put their oar in to deflect respect for the measures being promulgated. Isabel H. any work you are doing to help us cope with the reality of his virus, I thank you for. Please keep on in a way that is asked for by the MoH and don’t bother to give us any more of your unhelpful opinions.

    • Registered nurse? If so, how come you place store on a neurosurgeon whose claim to fame has been that he has discredited academic work, has no expertise in immunology and has never graced to halls of even middle ranked universities. The co-morbidity argument is pretty dodgy too. Are you suggesting that people over 60 who have been fatally afflicted by Covid-19 haven’t died prematurely? Is it that, or do you believe that anyone over 60 should be disposed of in a geriatric co-morbidity Covid farm? As for not having a cold or flu since 1983, so what. We only have your word for it. If true, how about giving everyone the benefit of your superior insights since you know more than any doctor. Who knows, you might even have the Covid-19 silver bullet to share as well.

    • I just got older and haven’t had the flu since about the late 1980’s. These days I drink like a fish, admittedly watered down into Punch!, – mainly with one beer per 800 mls pineapple juice, and eating beautiful steamed veges , brown rice, tuna and my luxury food,- liver marinated/simmered in olive oil and peanut sauce. And lots of nuts and things like cranberrys- which invariably go into the steam up as well.

And I too, have some misgivings about the veracity of claims made in certain mortality reports about covid19 as there seems to be this thing whereby people die of age related chronic illness and covid19 is just tacked on at the end to boost the narrative…

      • Wild Katipo – You’re wonderful ! I emailed a young relative locked down alone, to cook himself up some liver and onions as a booster, and received a fairly basic negative reply – which gave me the chuckle he valiantly tries to provide with the jokes and quotes he sends me to alleviate my non-splendid isolation.

I do all sorts of things with liver now, as a cheap stir fry, adding everything under the sun without any stuffups…yet. However attempting to cook banana skins as recommended online, was a revolting disaster. Salmon patties totally splendid, and as optically impressive as their illustration, which I have never before achieved.

        • The crazy thing is that liver is one of the most nutritious and health giving of the sweet meats, – it is incredibly cheap , easily prepared and downright tasty ! The only other thing that comes close if you crave red meat is lamb, hogget , mutton, whose fat is far less viscous than beef. Thus far more heart healthy. Always loved vegetables even as a kid, and steaming is the lazy mans way of making delicious meals ! 🙂

Grab an industrial size steamer, a couple of pots, maybe a large wok, and you’ll cook up a meal for a family and have enough for lunches the next day. Just have a few plastic Tupperware pots and spoons on hand and maybe a loaf of bread divided among the family to spread it on. Always brown, btw…

    • I looked up your so called experts and the word quack was prominent. I would bet you are an anti vaxer .

    • Im a former Registered Nurse also and I wore a mask everyday in my job for 35yrs. If I were you Id get my head out of my backside and get the facts. I also thought I could look after myself without a Dr for the past 8 yrs. Until early July when I got a sore throat. Funny I thought. I had been wearing my N95 mask for weeks when ever I went out and usually only for an hr. When my neck started to swell. I thought, this is not good, and got an online consult. Luckily for me I took the Drs advice and went to the Urgent Care, straight away. They sent me to the ER for a CT scan. Luckily for me they gave me IV antibiotics right away. Within a couple of hrs I was in the ambulance going to a bigger hospital to an ENT Surgeon. On the 4th of July, I was in surgery and diagnosed with Necrotising Fasciitis of the Neck from a Peri Tonsillar abscess. Im still alive and my neck is almost healed after nearly 8 weeks. I am not living in NZ currently and I may not have had the care I got if I had been. Fortunately my Covid tests were both negative. You Isabel are talking BS. But hey you keep it up and you to will become a statistic.

    • Hey Isabel
See what you get for contributing as an experienced nurse…who probably knows much more about viruses than anyone here…you get flak from the likes of aom.

Anyhow, good work!!! Nurses need to get paid more!

    • Thanks for sharing Isabel, and keep up the fantastic work, and dont let the likes of Aom/ or Greywaffler, put you off posting. Unfortunately, you made the cardinal sin of posting an alternative view to some Church of Covid disciples and the official narrative, that is their mantra.
So you must be demeaned, and ridiculed, instructed to know your place, as critical analysis and the ability to think for yourself, or form an opinion from sources outside the controlled narrative is not tolerated.
Only the sheeple are on the path to true enlightenment.

    • Isabel, are you advocating for relaxing our borders and letting the virus in to circulate in the community? If so, I do not agree with you. Viruses certainly are very difficult to keep out – as we are witnessing now. But as can be seen overseas, letting the disease loose in the community most definately results in an increased mortality rate. To such an extent that hospitals were having to store corpses in refrigerated trucks. Nobody disagrees that co-morbidity plays a part in some deaths. But to say they are not dying of Covid is purely semantics. It’s quite obvious that if their underlining condition was going to claim them shortly anyway we wouldn’t see much increase in the mortality rate.

  2. Every thing that comes out of HDPA mouth is like verbal diarrhoea. Only a few weeks ago she was calling for open borders. She is trying to remain relevant. I don’t rate her much as a journalist and neither do many other Kiwis.

  3. Wasn’t she screaming last month that the government needs to throw open the borders to international students ASAP to save our precious “export education industry”?

Judith seems to have flip-flopped dramatically on that issue too for some reason. It’s almost as if the focus groups at Crosby and Textor think it would be a bad idea…

  4. Duplicity (she has such an unfortunate name, which leads irrepressibles to improvisation) – is one of the Ghouls from the Hall of Mirrors; everywhere they look they are in the centre of whatever. When they allow other images in, the image is dominant from all perspectives. Their voices sound, and then echo back to them. They live in a sort of Ghormenghast world, cut off from everyone else of different background. They are listened to avidly by people bereft of discernment and reflection, wanting input without nuance, simple and possibly sensational. The words must sound confident and bold enough to cut through the crust of dead brain cells in heads long unused to anything more complicated than following instructions from the accepted powers. These figureheads enable their desired living standards with credit levels high enough to soothe their materialist desires and satisfactions. Ooh I don’t like what I have just written, but it tells the reality that I have observed.

  5. We should probably expect more of this from certain right wing females for a while. They’ll likely be feeling a bit edgy and angsty, until Polly fesses up as to who’s accompanying her to Paris 🙂

(Doubt HDPA should be worried, Bazza’s way too staid. Maybe more shrill nervy squawks from the Hawkesbeak woman?)

    [Sorry, couldn’t resist.]

  6. “I fear if Jacinda wins in October HDPA may need to go on self harm watch”.. Doesn’t one have to have an intellect before it can be destabilised? Surely you aren’t attributing this stain on the landscape with any real intelligence, are you? Iv’e read two of her articles, and the utterly boneheaded bigoted stupidity of both of them made my brain hurt… I won’t indulge in the type of insult that tories use instead of debate, but it is totally unfeasable to suggest this individual got her job purely on her journalistic merits.. There are none in evidence, and won’t ever be..

  7. @ Herman Shovel Ready.
I’ve “lived with” family members, who, over the years have said to me: “What do YOU know?! You’re JUST A NURSE!” I have never said to anyone “You’re JUST A (WHATEVER). I have studied far more than nursing studies & very differently & more (in certain areas) than what medical students study – they have not even 4 hours on nutrition in their 4-5yrs at med school; (nor do student nurses fare any better). They (med students) “know” that an adult male “needs” 90mg Vit. C per day & an adult female “needs” 70mg Vit. C/day. That is simply bollocks! Their dog/cat synthesises several thousands mg Vit. C/day. A goat a few kg heavier than me synthesises around 13,000 mg Vit. C/day whilst peaceably nibbling grass in its paddock. When disturbed, said goat’s Vit. C-making escalates up to 100,000mg vit. C in short order. Doctors know zilch about that. There are also doctors & “doctors”. When a 19yr old student nurse, I was ordered by a “doctor” to give a fatal overdose of morphine to an elderly woman (about the age I am now). I said I wouldn’t give that dosage. He told me I would DO WHAT HE HAD ORDERED ME TO DO. I said that the only person who would give that dosage of morphine was HIM!! He didn’t, & that old lady went home well & healthy about 3 weeks later. I should have reported the “doctor” to the Ward Sister but she was hated by all of us student nurses – she was a BITCH!! And I was insufficiently mature to look past the personality of the Ward Sister & focus only on her level of responsibility/knowledge. I did learn & became an excellent nurse – was used as a trouble-shooter at both Auckland & Carrington Psychiatric Hospitals. When in London, UK, top hospitals asked my agent only for me – because they knew that I knew what I was doing, & didn’t need to be watched over by the hospital nurses.

  8. Well as with Simon, every time HDPA, Hosking, Garner, Hawkesby, Plunket, Williams, Young or whoever start with their loony tunes, Labor and Ardern’s support grows. The left and Labor’s communication is concise factual and without emotional hysteria of those on the “right of the political spectrum”. The left look like the adults in the room. Every time these click baiters rant they look more rabbit, driven by incessant lies and fake news. Sad, they become more and more unstable and deceived through believing their own repetitive lies (Seems a lot like the Trump syndrome, just keep on lying, it might just become true and afterall if you repeat incessantly it must be true). By parroting their fake news so often they are delusional and belief its is true and that they have drifted from planet Key to Armageddon. The right is alienating ordinary sensible Kiwis that have experienced and seen the improvements the Ardern government has already brought to fruition. In a short three years ordinary Kiwis are already in a better position than after nine years of National. Just look at wage increases over the past three years, more than the previous 9 years. Those on the left and centre came to realize that the demise of planet Key was the biggest blessing for NZ as it brought an end to the rot and neglect of the nine years of Key government.

    • Pierre, Reading through your comment it was as if someone was turning on the lights as they went through a couple of dark rooms. Several “Yes, that’s true!” moments. It’s very helpful.

Some of those radio jocks and ‘political commentators’ out there really are sounding increasingly desperate, unbalanced and at times quite deranged. And most Kiwis are distinctly unimpressed by those theatrics.

  9. Her column was undistilled hysteria. Unfortunately the average punter probably gets swayed by the sheer volume of ZB opinionators surfacing in the Herald. The whole point of managed isolation facilities is to seperate people who may have Covid away from the general community. Now apparently we can’t have somebody in a managed isolation facility who might have undetected Covid??! Instead of having journalists explain why this isn’t actually that big a deal, the Herald just runs an ‘opinion’ piece shrieking about how we’re all doomed. Journalism used to be an honourable profession….

  10. I think NZ is heartily sick of the tag teams undermining attacks on the Government, especially during a time of a health crisis.

The despicable Mike Hoskings and his equally vile wife and the utterly useless and well past his use by date Barry Soper and his despicable wife are clearly and incessantly running interference against the Government during an election campaign on behalf of the National Party. How is that even legal?

Our Government needs to make decisions that are in the best short and long term interests of all New Zealand. Understanding and respecting the all important rules put in place during a pandemic is absolutely critical. All it takes is a couple of conspiracy theorists and know it alls to fuck everything up for all of us. HDPA is again abusing her media role to put Kiwi’s at risk. It’s treasonous. Time she pissed off back to South Africa, take her piss ant husband with her and tell the South African Government how they should handle their pandemic. Isn’t it ironic that the perspective of HDPA always mirrors that of Judith Collins and wanker of the year yet again Mike Hoskings. I’m genuinely shocked all 4 tag team partners have the audacity to express any opinion publicly after they all had Ardern tried and convicted via their media for allegedly covering up a farcical case of sexual abuse. Zero evidence required. Just political bias and a platform to run their kangaroo court. Ardern never received an apology from any of these vile arrogant individuals when the actual evidence proved Ardern was totally innocent.

I have real concerns about Auckland coming out of Level 3 on Sunday night. The “mini cluster’ could very quickly turn into something far worse. I’ve been told this morning of another positive to Covid test at Pak N Save in Henderson. All clusters start off as “mini clusters” and then multiply very quickly. Health minister says there is no need to have zero cases to drop levels. What we have unfolding could well be light years from a single under control cluster. If it turns out to be prudent to again extend level 3 in Auckland, the Government must do so and completely ignore the whining from business, the National Party and their media helpers. Businesses fail every month of every year. A new business can be created but the last I heard, they haven’t found a way to bring the dead back to life. Those dead could easily be you or someone you love. If the Government does indeed extend the lockdown, Ardern will get crucified with a million guilt trips by the usual wankers and arrogant shitheels. The worst part of this is the fact there will be hundreds of people who will listen to HDPA and Hoskings etc and defy lockdown rules which will guarantee the virus spreads even more in the community. This is why I use the word “treasonous”.

    • running interference against the Government during an election campaign on behalf of the National Party. How is that even legal?

      A good question, and disturbing.

    • Haha brilliant! I would add that Michael Woodhouse has let himself go a bit, either that or he’ s found that homeless man.
