  1. “It should go without saying that the idea the Trump administration is pursuing regime change in Venezuela for the sake of democracy and human rights is as laughable as calling Jamal Khashoggi’s murder a surprise party gone wrong. “

Yesterday I posted up some international reporting on Juan Guaidó ..a iligitimat unpopular violent idiot who frauduantly decleared himself leader of Venezuela ,,,

In breath taking criminal farce this Bay of Piglets plotter ,,, with zero power and credibility,,, has been decleared legitimate and rightfull ,,, in a blatant display of world wide Dirty Politics.

Lets be clear ,,, If National had decleared themselves winners of our last election and had the blessing of the usa ,,,, they would stil be far far far far far ,, far more legit than that Guaido clown.

I did a New Zealand specific search to check our reporting on the latest failed Coup attempt in Venezuela ,,,, the results dished up were nothing short of right wing propaganda. All the first links were biased bullshit served up by supposedly respectable media ,, and Parliament .

Its no wonder people are so badly misinformed ,,It took to the bottem of the first page to finally see something factual ,,, and that was alternative media “Scoop”

radio NZ ran a story treating Guaido as legit ,,,, and they quoted Abram Elliot without the context of what a bloodstained war criminal he is

The Hearal had a bizzare story about ‘socialist elites ‘ having debauch Parties ,, they sort of refuted Venezuela being a major Cocain smuggler ,,, when their rich jet setters ,,, have to snort some shitty 2cb chemical crap … They also uncritically reported “Maduro, who was indicted by the US last month on narcotics charges” ,,, without the context of it being usa regiem change propaganda ,,, Trump level bullshit. Drink the printed bleach …

And finally Parliament ,,,, or more specifically “ What Sanctions Winston”. ,,, Winston gives a dishonest lecture while directing NZ aid to Venezuela.

Despite the fact usa seige sanctions and coordinated theft of overseas held gold and money would crash any economy in the world ,,, including ours. …

Despite tens of thousands in Venezuela suffering death because of brutal and unlawful collective punishment that sanctions represent ,,, Despite the obvious deprivations and hardships engineered by the usa ,,,, Despite all that ,,,their ‘screaming economy’ is the fault of corrupt Venezuelan politicians ,,, according to Winston,,,, and Trump.

“New Zealand has registered our objection to the human rights abuses being perpetrated by the Maduro administration,” said Mr Peters.  “ ,,,,, The cynical pensioner prick does not say boo about the usa and british role in Yemen ,,,,,

And we can guarantee Winston has never criticized anything about Elliot Abrams…..

“Abrams was tapped by Trump to serve as his special envoy to Venezuela, to essentially help steer the Trump administration’s slow-burn effort to topple that country’s government — or as Mike Pompeo put it, “restore democracy” in the country.
It should go without saying that the idea the Trump administration is pursuing regime change in Venezuela for the sake of democracy and human rights is as laughable as calling Jamal Khashoggi’s murder a surprise party gone wrong. “

  2. This is on a trend line of NZ police decisions –

    Fascism – › wiki › Fascism
Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.

In pondering mode? Which would you choose in the sweet shop?
Historically prevalent forms of government include monarchy, aristocracy, timocracy, oligarchy, democracy, theocracy and tyranny. The main aspect of any philosophy of government is how political power is obtained, with the two main forms being electoral contest and hereditary succession.
    Government – Wikipedia

    The 7 forms of government.
Democracy. A government where the majority makes the decisions by voting.
Republic. A government where people choose other people to make decisions for us.
Communism. A government where people are all “equal”.
Autocracy. A government where one person makes all the rules.
    Oligarchy. …
    Theocracy. …

My preference is now for citizen participation – not just voting every now and then as in representative government as we have presently. It ain’t working. We have a society going soggy, and not just because of lockdown. (I point that out for the simple-minded.)
This is what wikipedia says about it.
U haven’t read it yet but will soon and see if it fits with the idea in my head. It wouldn’t be ideal, I have come to realise that nothing is perfect, or will even stay viable for very long, without inspection, analysis, adjustments, corrections.

I wonder if we can start training for a new junior version of shot-putting – learning the skills of plucky David against Goliath as outlined in Malcolm Gladwell’s book. Apparently it is very effective and as we get more forced into a wilderness, jungle situation by the PTB that want to reduce most of us to poverty, and to be living in a travesty of a fair society, a little knowledge like that would be a dangerous thing to have to hand when needed.

  4. Best lines: “You bastards! You vicious, heartless bastards! Look what you’ve done to him! He’s worked his fingers to the bone to make this place what it is, and you come in with your petty feeble quibbling and you grind him into the dirt, this fine, honourable man, whose boots you are not worthy to kiss. Oh … it makes me mad … mad!
Just replace male references with the female ones and this is what we could be saying on behalf of our great
PM Ardern as she and the Cabinet emerge from the old politicians closet smelling of mothballs and slightly chewed at the edges, but good for recycling and years of wear!

Never pith on a Python, they could turn anything into a joke, #6.
