Biden Upset: Super Tuesday restores Democratic Party mediocrity

Super Tuesday has been an incredible political victory by Biden. The Democratic Party have selected him to lose the 2020 election.

3 SUPER TUESDAY HOT TAKES:

  • Billionaires can’t buy nominations. Bye bye Bloomberg.
  • Warren was humiliated for being the smartest candidate. Voters didn’t want a plan, they wanted an emotional support Labrador.
  • Bernie’s online social media activists alienated moderates the way they did in Brexit’s win and Corbyn’s loss.

Biden, the fragile establishment candidate has had an incredible Super Tuesday. He stood by Obama for 8 years and African-Americans have returned the favour. Free education & free health dies tonight on the alter of that loyalty.

I think after 4 years of the never ending nightmare toxicity that is Trump, numbed Democrats begged not for the revolution but for the safety of a hug from a bewildered Grandad

Unfortunately Trump will crucify that bewildered Grandad

This wasn’t an election. It was a cry for help.

    • I came for half intelligent political insight.
I stayed for hip sounding jazzy combo music.

      • In politics the word “potential” is a crucial one. Certain people have the potential to achieve great power and surpass even the greatest of their respective time period. How ever in most cases this potential is never realized as these people strive for a different power in some aspects and reduces their willingness to thug it out and advance their knowledge.

We’ve seen great examples on both sides with David Cunliff and Bill English, and now Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton never truly reaching they full potential as a Democrat or an Independent. And again this opinion is based on the potential of a leadership candidate and not the power that they achieved.

Although Bernie Sanders has not yet fulfilled his true potential he draws on the knowledge that the 1% is the enemy of the 99% everyone else. Although not yet achieving his full potential as a democratic nominatee, Sanders is with out a doubt one of the most brilliant campaigners ever. After becoming an independent senator, Sanders potential became exponentially greater when he joined the democratic ticket for president and went on to become one of the democrats finest campaigners ever, and that terrified the Democratic National Party Elite and yet Sanders had to become much much more to overcome these natural impediments but Sanders drive is not the same had he run as an independent presidential candidate.

It has been hypothesised by Professor Noam Chomsky and Professor Cornel West that if Sanders had of run as an independent presidential candidate he would have been able to achieve his full potential 4 years ago. In the end though Sanders could never truly achieve his potential because others who was driven to the Democratic Party instead of joining as an independent had more practice and was more inherently prepared to lead the Democratic Party.

  1. What has happened to Bernie could happen here to Jacinda if some off her cheer leaders go down the same path trying to blame white males for all the NZ woes.

    • Are we surprised the democrats chose blairism over real change? The same Democratic Party has influence on our own Labour Party with money and job swaps.
Same horrible managerial woke moralizing neoliberalism. At least it’s not Warren.
Won’t matter who it was anyway Trump is a virtual certainty to win.

  2. So Biden wins the nomination and then Trump defeats ‘sleepy joe’ but it’s only 4 more years right. We’ve been thru 4 more years before.
Unless Trump convinces the people that although the Constitution was drawn up by some really FANTASTIC people there are parts of it that were twisted and he has some PERFECT amendments to the FAKE CONSTITUTION

  3. Anyone who believes we will not get four more years of Trump is delusional. With Sanders effectively out, and Sleepy Joe Biden in, the ball is very much in Trump’s court.

  4. Unfuckingbelievable, they really have lost the plot. Americans are now the bumbling, hair sniffing laughing stock of the free world. At least Obama had the smooth talking persona to disguise his love of Wall St fraudsters and wedding party droning.

    • I love these comments -it’s my morning comedy good for the soul. Sadly it looks like Sanders is toast. But I guess he never had a chance against “the machine”, as Pink Floyd would call it.

  5. Wouldn’t be surprised if Warren endorses Biden. In the land of individualism solidarity has an uphill battle against the rich’s friend, divide and rule. Warren is a weak vessel, but not because she’s female.

Bernie will take our cause as far as it can be taken. Let him talk as long as possible for demo-cracy. No harm can come from that. Bow our heads when we are right?!

    • Yes, interesting which way Ms Warren jumps. Apparently Bernie first stood in 2016 after Elizabeth would not.

Bernie would have no 2020 Campaign without the disparate movement that supports him. It will hopefully build into 2024 and finish the job. Bernie–what a guy though, using his last years up for the multi racial working class.

  6. Lol well put.
I also liked the Chaser headline:
“Democrats select Joe Biden to lose the next election”

  7. Just like Neo Zealand, the choice is … there is no choice.

And once the dust settles from COVID-19 in a year or two, guess who’ll still be in charge……and offering you the same “choice”.

  8. Simply handing victory to Trump but maybe that’s the best the increasingly desperate establishment can hope for? I can not see Sanders supporters voting for Biden anymore than I could see them voting for Clinton.

    • I doubt Bloombergs billions will be as influential as some in the media suggest. It didn’t help him much and being bombarded by incessant adverts funded by Bloomberg would surely turn many people off Biden as they would for donut shops, baked beans, telephone companies or anything else.

  9. I’m wondering if the Bidenites relied mainly on Facebook or Fox News for news and to form opinions on candidates. Brains got scrambled. Or maybe they are clinging on to Obama as romantic figurehead. Having said that, Bernie is still very much the favourite. Only he can cure the derangement.
