Facebook post inciting violence against politicians subject of police investigation
A post on Facebook calling for civil disobedience and attacks on offices of politicians has emerged two weeks after attacks on an Auckland restaurant following an Act Party event.
One Eden Bistro staff member has resigned and others continue to feel unsafe following two attacks after Act leader David Seymour delivered his state of the nation address there on Waitangi Day.
The post by a Leonidas Spartan called on “brave patriots” to “send a message to this corrupt govt system that the revolution has started”.
Police said they were aware of the Facebook post and are looking into it.
The two attacks occurred on the weekend after it hosted an Act Party function on Waitangi Day, where Seymour spoke out against firearms law, the persecution of landlords and the “hate speech regime”.

…needs to get a spellchecker and appreciate that violent action against ACT only boosts their free speech crusade, it doesn’t stop it!
Could activists PLEASE stop giving ACT bloody ammunition!
ACT are on their way to 3% by telling right wing voters the woke are coming for their free speech, add violence on top of that and ACT might breach the 5% threshold all on their own!

seymor and his cronies don’t understand moderation and communication. They have zero respect for people who are prepared to sit around a table to reason things out.

As for the police looking into whomever Leonidas Sparten is and no doubt those who might side with him or her? I’d a thought they’d be too busy fielding the on average 67 calls re threats of suicide they get a day. I think they’ll be far too busy dealing with the domestic violence poverty breeds, then there’s the damage from alcoholism and P addictions ‘to look into’.
If you guys above have a better idea, then you’re keeping it far too secret because this nightmare’s a bit shit.
