Police spokesperson:

This morning the Electoral Commission handed their file to NZ Police. We have assessed the file and will be referring the matter to the Serious Fraud Office.

As this matter is ongoing we are not in a position to comment further.

  1. Call me suspicious but it has the smell of another hit job on Winston and NZ First. Mr Bridges appears to have been waiting for confirmation from ‘someone’ that this was going to drop, and announced his ‘Winston Ban’ just prior.

Now in some ways it would obviously be good to be rid of Winston, if only the Greens would stop pissing about, and as the TDB says–stick to Climate Action and the Cannabis Referendum, and get their support well up and so there could be a Labour/Green Govt. Then we would really find out what those two are made of without the constant excuse of Winston as handbrake.

Yep. Very neat. Very nifty, shifty Simon.
(WHY are the media once again aiding and abetting the nifty Nats in this double double sleight of hand mischief?)

  2. I see the newspapers headlines saying ‘NZ First donations will sink them’ taking that scenario and applying it to national does that mean, ‘national are toast at the next election’ as accepting fraudulent donations shows they have no ethics, principles, values and can’t be trusted or does our media only negatively highlight any party that is threat to national returning to power.

ExACTly! The nifty Nats, shifty Simon, and the complicit corporate media.
(How stupid do they think we are?)
