When the vicious pricks of the NZ Right spray their toxicity that Jacinda is a #parttimepm full of smiles and hugs – this is the kind of vapid vacant callous bullshit they are actually championing as leadership…

…Scott Morrison is a right wing fundamentalist Christian climate denying coal loving arsehole who won the last election online by playing to the worst angels of the Australian nature.

He has done everything in his power to shut down the climate crisis debate and as his nation burns to an apocalyptic husk, he forces people who are dealing with that denial to shake his hand.

When the right wing trolls of NZ claim Jacinda is a Part Time PM, compare her actions, empathy, compassion and courageous stand on issues to this Climate Denying Christian Goon who was on fucking holiday while his country burned.

Fuck the right wing NZ Trolls, fuck Scott Morrison and fuck climate deniers. May they all burn together.

    • Actually, CleanGreen, Scott Morrison is one of those disgusting older men who wear their trousers half way down their bottom. When they bend down they can look even more disgusting; I quit a volunteer job having to work with one of them because I didn’t like what I saw. It’s a class thing.

    • i am voteing for jacinda this year a would like labour green government and get some of the policy through that peters blocked old no bridges bridges is a dork

  1. Scott Morrisson and Coal …and China and Coal

    https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/oct/23/australias-hopes-to-expand-coal-exports-in-south-east-asia-delusional-experts-say

…”The Morrison government says it is committed to the Paris agreement goals, including limiting global heating to as close to 1.5C as possible. The UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change last year estimated that reaching the goal would require a 59% to 78% cut in coal use for electricity by 2030 compared with 2010 levels, followed by deeper reductions by mid-century.

Despite this, documents released to the Australian Conservation Foundation under freedom of information laws show department advice to Scott Morrison before a visit to Vietnam in August “strongly recommended” he focus on expanding coal exports. The emailed advice said the potential growth in exports to Vietnam could “partially mitigate declining exports elsewhere, notably China”.

‘Visualizing Every Coal Power Plant In The World (1927-2019)’
    https://www.zerohedge.com/health/visualizing-every-coal-power-plant-world-1927-2019

“If you live in a developed country, it’s been clear that the appetite for coal power is falling.

Not only has coal been singled out as a primary source of carbon emissions and air pollution, but, as Visual Capitalist’s Jeff Desjardins details below, it’s also been getting phased out in favor of cheap natural gas in some regions around the world.

In the U.S., electricity generation from coal has been dropping since the late 2000s, and in Europe the departure from coal has accelerated even quicker. In fact, it’s estimated that European coal power output could fall 23% in 2019 alone.

    A Different Global Story
However, despite a growing consensus around the use of thermal coal in the West, the global story is actually quite different.

Today’s animation from SVT Nyheter details every coal power plant in the world from 1927 to 2019, and it shows that coal power — especially in South Asia — has continued to ramp up…

( so where are the Greens on this?…The fuckwits are blaming your Boomer Grandmas for climate change)

  2. I must say I have every confidence in Scott Morrison. He is a super guy….. We can all be confident that in a time of crisis Scott Morrison will naturally show his true colours and at super human speed will bugger off on yet another holiday to perhaps the mainland USA.

He has shown to all and sundry his pure arrogance. This could well explain why the NZ National Party love him.

Seeing Morrison in his photo opportunity seeking actions strongly grab a womans’ hand then arrogantly walking away from perhaps because he didn’t like hearing what is happening shows how out of touch with reality the baboon truly is. Also he looked like a well feed white man who, unlike so many Australians who have lost their homes, crops, livestock etc; will not go hungry tonight or into the future.

It’s a shame the Aussies just don’t have the guts to linch the guy and throw him and his bottom feeding cronies into the midst of a large bush fire. The worst that can ever happen to Morrison is he gets a knighthood from Lizzie. Because he does not merit anything except scorn.

Kia Kaha Australia. You will need to be strong for what you are all going through and also the fact you have a idiot as YOUR representative to the world. You need to show your strength as a country and ensure Scomo and his cronies never get into government ever again.

  3. Our PM has proven her worth through demonstrating great leadership during times of national crisis.

Instead of hosting the Aus and Kiwi cricket teams at the PM’s residence, it might have been more appropriate for Scott Morrison to have hosted off duty rescue teams (if they can be spared) fighting the horrific catastrophe of the bush fires throughout Australia! Also being on the ground with the surviving victims desperately needing some reassurance from the top should also be a priority for the PM. It’s called support and solidarity. To hell with the cricket!

    • mary_a Scott may not have always had optimum influences in his life:

“In 1998, Morrison moved to New Zealand to become director of the newly created Office of Tourism and Sport. He formed a close relationship with New Zealand’s tourism minister, Murray McCully, and was involved with the creation of the long-running “100% Pure New Zealand” campaign.[12][18] Under his leadership, the OTS had numerous anomalies and concerns over contracts worth $184 million. He left this position in 2000, a year before the contract schedule.[19] ”

That Morrison is descended from William Roberts, a convict deported to Australia for stealing yarn, may be neither here nor there, but why he quit his NZ contract before time, and with apparent anomalies of our NZ monies looks like questions needing answers. Grabbing a reluctant woman’s hand is sickening, and to me it suggests a disconnect with both empathy and reality – the cricket schmoozing disgraceful.

Women who have been inappropriately touched by jerks will all feel for Morrison’s poor victim – and we all feel for fire threatened people right now, even if their PM has been too wrapped up in himself to do so in appropriate and sensitive fashion.

  4. Another PM nipped off to a lavish family holiday in Hawaii iirc. …Also at a time that conveniently meant he was avoiding the heat back in the land he was supposed to be leading. Those with short memories can read about it here or here

    • No J S Bark but we are allowed to promote her accomplishments whilst the bottom feeders continue to attack. I’m certain National failed hundreds of thousands of N.Zers what with the increased homelessness, lack of funding in health, property and infrastructure, education etc etc etc.
I note also the N.Z. media’s not stop attack of the Government also. And how much for the N.Z. Herald’s ad for David Bennett or todays article promoting Judith Collins memoirs. Remember her J S Bark, remember Oravida. Then we have Hooten’ article on how Bridges can become P.M.

Compared to Bridges and Morrison and the constant trolling by the right wing negative nancy’s, yes her non accomplishment’s make Key’s ponytail pulling, Bridges, Jamie Lee Ross tape or English’s 450 Todd Barclay text’s pale into insignificance.

      • Seems to me the health system is still under funded and the thousands of houses required may or may not happen in our lifetime. JA is visible when a camera is handy and there are always plenty for her to play to, whereas Scott Morrison has to grab a victim’s hand so the camera has something to shoot. JA might come across as a nice person but will we prefer her type of Government if they continue to muddle and find it hard to achieve enough. Americans chose Trump even though he’s an arsehole because he is making their lives better (supposedly). Make no mistake if this Government doesn’t pull finger it’s gone. Doesn’t matter how nice it is.

        • Completely disagree with the whole “is visible when a camera is handy” . For fucks sake she is P.M. Even Key was “handy” when the camera’s were around. Prime ministers attract the camera. I believe there are plenty that also think he’s doing worse for American’s, it just depends on who you talk to I suppose.
Again I remind you of the good things this government has achieved and not just believe the narrative of New Zealand’s right wing media and vicious right wing troops. Such viciousness is a reminder as to why National were voted out, that and their destructive policies and under investment.
Given the same 9 years National had I’d say that would be suffice for Labour to correct your concerns and be nice at the same time.
Lastly don’t believe all New Zealand’s MSM write, as I say it’s a narrative straight from Bridges, ScoMo visit..

  5. “empathy, compassion and courageous stand”
But they’re a range of store bought, boxed set, off-the-rack, bog standard emotions even my dog’s learned to muster when the times call for it? Like, for food, walkies, pats and scratches.
Ah? ‘Lets Do This’ Adern? Hello? I still see homeless people, I still see hungry kids, I still see illegal cannabis, I still see a neoliberal crippled basic infrastructure, I now see a minister of finance about to spend $12 billion on roading when just yesterday I drove to Queenstown along side a now vandilised railway line and I still see those four big foreign owned banksters taking $5billion in net profit from us annually.
As for ScoMo? As in our case? Isn’t he what the people asked for? Why are we now surprised when he delivers, which is a bag of hot air floating above a truck load of wank. And wank and hot air? Does that not describe national and labour?
Lets take a deep breath and hope that even a little oxygen makes it all the way upstairs.
We, the people, ( Bit of a giggle there. ) are not in some kind of mythical control. ‘They’ are.
The Nationals are, the Labours are, the faceless , deep state, dark shadows are.
Some of the creatures who will have us go to war on Iran will be living here FFS.
Go to Queenstown and see a cancerous, money-fetishist tumor growing on the face of beautiful old Otago and since that’s clearly the case, that’s where They’ll be too. Writhing about in their squirming greed pondering just how many dollars will be banked at every bomb dropped on Iran’s kids and animals.

    • “Go to Queenstown and see a cancerous, money-fetishist tumor growing on the face of beautiful old Otago”

I was lucky enough to visit Fox Glacier and Lake Tekapo on a school trip many years ago. The beauty and the magic of that place was the quiet, the silence, the tranquillity, the dark skies at night, the pristine environment. The absence of people. Now, I read where there are heaps of faeces everywhere, including around the once pristine Tekapo chapel. And Wanaka, who’s beauty emanated from her silence, is “celebrated” by the horrible sounds of the war machines of that “Wings Over..”

And now the lakes seem set to become sewers, ultimately, unless there is some sort of intervention into the insanity of it all.

This application made in June, to legitimise the flushing of all their mega crap into the waterways, ultimately into our lakes and rivers.

      Excerpts:
“Some of New Zealand’s cleanest and most scenic lakes could be on the receiving end of wastewater overflows for several decades. Lake Wanaka and Queenstown’s Lake Wakatipu, as well as numerous rivers and streams, are included in a Queenstown Lakes District Council resource consent application to discharge wastewater – usually comprising raw faeces, food waste, heavy metals and industrial waste – to freshwater when pipes break or block.”

“The overflows are partly a consequence of both population growth and rising tourism in the district, which is the fastest growing in the country. Queenstown Lakes has a relatively high number of overflows compared to other councils, Water NZ data shows.”

“Such overflows already happen, but are outside any resource consent regime. The council has received multiple infringement notices for wastewater overflows and was in 2018 fined $37,500 for allowing wastewater to enter the Kawerau River.”

“The council’s data shows around 200 overflows have happened over a three-year period. In 2018, the number of overflows was 50 per cent higher than each of the previous two years. A minority of the overflows ended up in freshwater.”

“The resource consent application shows wastewater is likely to occasionally end up in some of the country’s most iconic lakes and rivers, over the course of several decades. It requested a consent duration of 35 years, the maximum allowed, meaning discharges could continue beyond 2050.”

“Among the high-risk sites are bustling lakefront areas in central Queenstown and central Wanaka. In some cases, the source of a likely overflow is less than 30m from the water.” [more at the link]

  6. Yes, yes, yes…..I have been saying this for months. The choice this year is to vote for a real leader, who knows exactly what the job is or a knob like smoco(aka Scotty from marketing)……Bridges is a variation on a theme of Smoco. Don’t make the mistake Ozzies made. The choice is clear
