  1. Should be well paid and clear redundancy payments laid out in law in NZ as a priority for this government!

    In wake of a person who now has to bring in a clown as his support person as his job only lasts a few months!

    NZ has some of the worst redundancy outcomes in the world!

    “Axed over the Christmas break, told to be out by lunchtime after 50 years’ loyalty – this is redundancy in New Zealand, where there’s no mandatory notice period or compensation payments and little support for those searching for new work.”

    https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/in-depth/365540/why-being-made-redundant-in-nz-is-so-tough

    In NZ it is too easy to make people redundant here, and get away with it, and five minutes later hire other people and there is not enough compensation to the employee made redundant! It should be a minimum of 4 months wages going up to 1 year+ for people who have worked for decades for firms!

    Then industry operating in NZ complain about industry shortages and nobody is training anymore, because why would you when you are better off on welfare than working in modern day NZ when you pay money to work to start a job, but could be out a few months later.

    And as soon as the migrants get their permanent residency they will be on welfare too! We now have firms who bring in migrant worker, then go under or make them redundant and then the NZ taxpayer is left supporting them, not the firm that bought them in. Its crazy!

    This has nothing to do with ethnicity – it is NZ dysfunctional working conditions, managers who are incentivised for short term profits and are often incapable of being decent human beings or understanding long term business and management of people, and ease of redundancy with zero questions or financial compensation required for workers, which is a big part the problem!

  2. Should we use vehicle tyres made from grass, trees, corn instead of oil?
    https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/app.45701
    For your information;
    A new eco-friendly vehicle tyre composition in on the scientific horizon and was known since 201, so why is it not in widespread use by now??
    Perhaps the big oil felt it would reduce their use of oil (QUOTE) “According to the Rubber Manufacturers Association, each tire produced takes 7 gallons of oil”
    • A revolutionary new ‘Eco-Friendly’, Renewable Tyre will now stretch the Boundaries of Rubber Production.
    • This tyre is made from the carbon base material (isoprene usually from oil) is from a plant based material such as grass, trees, corn ec’t.
