  1. “coding error” for the latest computer hack on the ‘heritage and culture’ Ministry was the excuse!!!!
When will our privacy be protected?
Just another screw up by easily digital sites being hacked so we can now assume that nothig is safe any more now.

Climate deniers ae paid by the oil industry to repeat the words “no climate change here” for as long as they are able till hell fezes over it sems while we all see the climate xchanging before our eyes every month that goes by.

Just ask Aiuckland people how they like the unusual ‘rain every day this month’?

Half will be climate deniers and they ‘no problem’.

So what is certain is that only when they are treading water will they actually be ‘awaken to the harsh reality’.

Guess we should call it the “Poseidon effect” after false notions eh?

  2. Creepy unethical council assaults on freedom of speech.

Freedom of speech is vitally important when taking on a public position (as well as business) aka you need a diverse range of opinions to ensure that decisions are robust, not just group think and you have a kangaroo council made of followers who through council practises, become afraid of speaking out.

(In this case it sounds like someone’s grandiose idea that has more holes than Swiss cheese when they apparently already have a better located pool that could just be renovated).
Napier City Council’s monitoring of members’ Facebook accounts ‘uncomfortable’ and ‘creepy’

  3. What could go wrong? sarcasm, aka allowing NZ visas to be sold off for tens of thousands of dollars by third parties, to people who have few skills, become part of the cash economy, and will never be able to pay their work visa ‘fees’ back, legally???

In the old days, people had to prove they could support themselves before NZ holiday visas were given out and they did NOT allow work visas to be given out lightly, hence surprise, surprise, we did not have people living on dog food and handouts wondering how to pay their $15k back. While it is hard not to feel sorry for this lady, the real villain is the people and our government that allowed her to come to NZ like hundreds of thousands of others, get into debt to do so, and find that there are not jobs just fake low level ones you can’t survive on, or the applicant has completely unsuitable skills for NZ.

Seriously people in NZ who live here all their lives can’t survive here on the NZ wages and jobs, what makes the government think migrants are any different?

It’s not the people who are fault in NZ, it is the low wages and high costs of living that are going even higher while wages are dropping due to the work visa scams.

At this point it is not the employer who are the biggest exploiters, it is the NZ government and NZ immigration and all the NZ officials, giving out visas to people that push them into further poverty, who are the biggest exploiters!

“Christchurch woman helps migrant worker reduced to eating dog food”

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/114713580/christchurch-woman-helps-migrant-worker-reduced-to-eating-dog-food?cid=facebook.post&fbclid=IwAR3K3eSHWMCyWi553XnCv0spFeqZi5gblj4GjxadLnQWp2gQ2t_24T67OtM

According to industry there are so many jobs out there, so why are migrants eating dog food? The entire NZ visa industry has become a scam with hundreds of thousands of new migrants entering into it every year. And at this point it is being fuelled by the government handing out the visas.

Propaganda like the below, sadly if you only require people for a few weeks a year then funny enough, the business will struggle to find people, and they need to pay more money like in OZ with the mining they pay a premium for a shit job, and invest a bit more in that side of the industry rather than thinking the government should step in to solve this problem that has been going on for 100 years without migrant worker permits being needed!

Meanwhile in the real world, Jobseeker benefit numbers are up 11% in a year
The latest MSD data shows the number of people receiving a jobseeker benefit has increased by 13,000 or 10.9% in the last year.

And it isn’t evenly spread. The increase by key demographics is:

    Maori +14.6%
    Pasifika +15.9%
    Under 25s +13.7%
    25 – 40 year olds +16.7%
And even bigger growth with hardship assistance. The special needs grants are up 45% and advances up 53%.

Something is very very wrong in NZ and the government does not seem to want to face it!

    • I think you might find the going rate these days is substantially more than $15k @ Savenz.
It’s to take account of the heightened risk now that after INZ and its ‘compliance team’ has sufficiently embarrassed itself and the coalition, that they’re actually getting off their chuffs (SOMETIMES). The problem is they let things get so bad for so long that they’ve managed to make the task of even trying to fix it all completely overwhelming. All of which is OK for them of course because they can start claiming victimhood

      • @OnceWasTim Auckland is emptying and the roads are less gridlocked now, maybe the scams are moving outside labour inspectorate offices…. and into the provinces …

It is sad that the government is more interested in appeasing the business and scam community than protecting people’s rights including letting third parties profit from NZ visas.

And you are right, $15k is a discount price for ‘arranging’ the often fake paperwork for a NZ visa, the price is more like $40k for the fake degree and $40k for the subsequent fake job.

$80k though is cheap because you can then sign on to NZ welfare for the rest of your life post permanent residency.

When you have more than one passport, you can sign on, and then leave NZ on your other passport and work overseas while receiving NZ benefits or swap identities.

(immigration are still pondering how Sroubek managed to enter NZ twice while not departing, tick, tock, tick, tock… when will the alarm bells start ringing).

    • What is wrong is that we have subcontracted out immigration and visa issues to “agents” in the countries of application and the whole system has been subverted by corruption. It’s way past time to take all immigration matters back into the hands of the immigration department. I don’t feel sorry for the poor students and lowpaid, exploited workers – they have knowingly tried to rort the system.

      • Also the locals who are now committing suicide… in particular those at the bottom such as Maori and Pacific Islanders who are the most being displaced from housing and jobs in NZ under the fake visa schemes where now you ‘buy’ employment, how fucked up is that! Meanwhile honest businesses paying normal rates are going under as they are out competed by Ponzi schemes and so there are less and less well paid jobs.

New Zealand suicide rates highest since records began
        https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12262081

      • It also just aint just the agents who are pushing through fake students for money, the Kiwi institutions are getting as bad as the ‘Auckland international business school’ ones.

And what will be the result of 50% of tertiary degrees being cheats entering the work force!

NZ lecturer says half of international students in their class failed for cheating, universities turning blind eye

        https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/nz-lecturer-says-half-international-students-in-their-class-failed-cheating-universities-turning-blind-eye

NZ government needs to take responsibility to green lighting the dysfunction they have created from jobs, housing to education and it aint just the agents who are at fault. It is a complete failure which started with Labour Rogernomics and went rogue under the Natz.

NZ has abused and undermined it’s own people for 30 years since Rogernomics and now the new Rogernomics flavour is, immigration will save us by profiting off visas!

  4. Interesting isn’t it?

As New Zealand inches more towards becoming like China (see first two links below) there is barely a murmur. Whereas, in Hong Kong people are flooding onto the streets.

See link below to see what’s currently happening in Hong Kong

It seems the majority of New Zealanders are of the belief it is for our safety, whereas the people of Hong Kong know differently.

    • +1 The Chairman, but in fairness it sounds like a growing number of kiwis are just trying to stay alive, while the middle class when they protest are booed by wokies as well as they Natz and called nimbies and racists, so I guess they have started to give up. Look at TPPA, 3/4 didn’t want it, and it was pushed through by Labour. Activists are openly spied upon and dirty politics reigns here. Sigh.

Nothing that a few templates, or demographic spreadsheets, or maybe even trying to plagiarise a bit of “best practice” from overseas couldn’t fix though eh?
