  1. As everyone could have expected by the way the census was conducted, it is useless as 700,000 people failed to complete it.

    Not sure government should be blaming the messenger though, as the arbitrary online push and lack of consultation was the biggest issue, as is the prevalence of government bodies increasingly spying on NZ’ers and misusing their data plus so many people in NZ now can’t read or write in English and have no real knowledge (and increasingly little interest) of what is going on!

    Democracy is a two way street. When the government (and it is mostly the fault of the Natz) abuse all civic processes the of course people become unwilling to share their information with government bodies.
