The Liberal Agenda – Bryan Bruce – Delay to Brexit and my Trade Doco

Just an update to everyone who contributed to “Trade Secrets” my documentary on “free” trade and the “free” market.

I thought I was going to be able to finish it after March 29th ( the date Britain was due to leave the EU)

Unfortunatel the Brexit date has now been extended because the British parliament is in chaos over what to do.

As the outcome of what Britain eventually decides holds some serious implications for New Zealand’s future I need to wait to see what happens, otherwise the documentary could, very rapidly, become out – of- date.

It’s frustrating but nowhere near as exasperating as it must for many UK and European business owners who literally don’t know whether they are coming or going.

Thanks again for your patience.

Bryan Bruce is one of NZs most respected documentary makers and public intellectuals who has tirelessly exposed NZs neoliberal economic settings as the main cause for social issues.

  1. There’s billions in fees backing up along the UK boarders financial plumbing. Whether Westminster likes it they’re out of the EU. The longer they take to recognise that the larger required stimulus.

  2. I wonder if when the EU was setup that the terms of joining were set out so everyone you joined knew haw to exit the deal when they wanted to?

Now that we are joined to TPPA and other trade treaties I wonder if we will have similar issues when those trade agreements go against our interests?
