I’m sorry, what? A day after being caught out over the Chinese Herald propaganda scandal, the NZ Herald publish this advert in their own paper…

…after being busted as a self censoring propaganda outlet for China, the advert should look like this…

 

…when the NZ Herald found out that they had unwittingly become a puppet for Cameron Slater when Dirty Politics was published, the Herald promised they would change.

When the NZ Herald found out that Rachel Glucina had falsely pretended to be a media consultant and not a reporter when she tricked the waitress John Key had been touching into giving them an exclusive, the Herald promised they would change.

Here we are now finding out that once again the NZ Herald has been used to promote hidden interests and the Herald promises to change.

How many times does the NZ Herald have to be caught promoting manipulative and secret interests before you write it off as a legitimate source?

    Wechat has over 1 billion users with 500 million in China. This equates to 1/3 people living in China. The thing is wechat isn’t just a messaging app, it also serves banking, email, social media, you can also order taxis, pay electricity bills and much more. And the Chinese government can access all this information simply by asking.

    • Microsoft has had back door in all their operating systems for years.

      Google and all western social media collect data on you and all of that is available to NSA.

      Android originally based on open source linux has overtaken M$oft but China is developing its own open source operating system as is Russia.

      Many countries run Govt computer systems without M$oft as does the US military and CIA..

  2. The Whoreld is an absolute toxic rag and I refuse to read it at all anymore. It just used to piss me off, and I’d rather be informed than sit at the table shrieking “Bullshit!” at the paper like some apoplectic maniac. Life is too short.
