EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist language, homophobic language, racist language, anti-muslim hate, transphobic language, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

  1. This why even this Labour led government will keep benefits lower than the minimum wage workers earn:
    (published 23 May 2018)
    (as on 23 May 2018)

It explains it at least to some degree, WINZ continue ABATING benefits, following a regime, based on internal RULES, that are not so transparent, and that ensure that for many (that is those getting temporary additional support or the special benefit supplement) the so called ‘increase’ in the Accommodation Supplement as of 1 April 2018 only ends in other benefit supplements being cut instead

People on benefits are MEANT TO BE POOR, that is the silent agreement between virtually ALL parties in Parliament in NZ Inc.

So many are not one cent better off, despite of Lois and his propaganda pro Labour on this forum.

  2. The ‘new’ government has so far left all this in place, as far as I can gather:

So we now have to wait for an ‘expert’ advisory group to tell us what can and cannot be changed, ffs:
‘ Expert panel to advise on welfare system overhaul announced’

So where do we send our submissions to???

  3. ‘Trump Will “Probably” Support Bipartisan Marijuana Bill’

“If you like your dispensary, you can keep your dispensary… or at least that’s what a new bipartisan bill introduced by Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Cory Gardner (R-CO) would ensure.

The legislation, known as Strengthening the Tenth Amendment Through Entrusting States (STATES) Act would allow states to regulate marijuana without federal interference by amending the Controlled Substances Act so that it does not supersede any state, territory or tribal laws “relating to the manufacture, production, possession, distribution, dispensation, administration, or delivery of [marijuana]”

“It’s time to reform American’s outdated marijuna policies,” Warren tweeted on Thursday.
