National MP Scott Simpson has attacked Chloe Swarbrick’s recent speech in Parliament as a “formulaic cut-and-paste speech”.
I can’t work out if he is being figurative or literal, as in Chloe actually gave this speech previously or perhaps Scott’s just learnt the word ‘formulaic’ and this is his first test drive of it in public?
I get the feeling it’s the latter.
Chloe and Gholriz represent the best Millennial politics has to offer and National voters love to bash them condescendingly the way they loved to bash Nandor.
Scott belittling Chloe without a funny punchline is boorishly loser like behaviour and with so many other boorishly loser traits, Simpson looks doomed to be the type of never ending boorish loser that pollute the back-benches of National.

I am being attacked today on ST in this way by four heardened Natz synpathisers.
They now are so pissed at loosing that they have engaged in criticizing us outright by belittling us for our prowess with words.
They are now becoming very scary and aggressive here as it looks as they are loosing the plot entirely Martyn.

What I think is that National are trying to wind us all up in an attempt to get some to vote National in the upcoming by-election coming.

2018 NORTHCOTE BY-ELECTION
The Northcote by-election will take place on Saturday 9 June 2018. Information about where and when to vote in the Northcote by-election will be available here from Tuesday 15 May.
I heard on Tonights news that NZ First and greens are not entering this by-election as they said labour had a good chance of winning this election.
So the National trolls are coming thick and both on The Standard and The Daily Blog fast now ahead of this bi-election.
So we have to double our efforts to sell the positive word of the coalition government to stop National trolls trying to influence this election result.
IN VINO – Scott Simpson is a product of ‘these times’ unfortunately, as the digital media is now crammed with “national hacks” like Simpson appears to also be part of.
Martyn has provided the most “humanity” proven site here in NZ where “National hacks” are not provided ‘open slather’ attacks upon anyone whom they disagree with, and why we choose to donate monthly to.
On many occasions my blogs on ‘The Standard’ have been subject to about six constant “National Hack” attacks and it is disheartening when we place our comments on subjects up on a social site to be viciously attacked by these “national Hacks” who go one after the other in unison to attack the blogger they have targeted.
It is a system we should call it for what it is; “digital bullying” or ‘intimidation’
I have witnessed on ‘The standard’ many times such severe attacks on the ‘contributors’ of that site.
Of far worse personal attacks than seen on The Daily blog.
Long may this site remain in force.
If Labour win Northcote (highly unlikely but possible) then National will exercise no restraint and NZ will experience a Right-wing war Theresa May will envy.
