ISIS isn’t a threat to us, the GCSB and SIS are!

Oh what a load of bullshit…

SIS boss: Isis threat remains

Security Intelligence Service (SIS) boss Rebecca Kitteridge has warned the military defeats inflicted on Islamic State (IS) have not yet reduced the terror threat it poses in countries like New Zealand.

The two heads of the SIS and Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) made a rare late-night appearance in front of Parliament’s intelligence and security committee, chaired by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, to talk about the threats to New Zealand.

In her report to the committee, Kitteridge said countering the threat of terrorism was still a significant focus for the SIS despite the diminishing extent of the IS caliphate in Syria and Iraq.

…Brothers and siser, ISIS isn’t  fucking threat to us, the biggest threat to us is the very GCSB and SIS who have mass surveillance powers, multi-million dollar budgets and hand everything over to the NSA who are a threat to us.

The GCSB and SIS illegally spied on us, lied to us and pushed for mass surveillance powers they should never have been granted.

These agencies themselves are a far greater threats to our democracy and way of life than any disaffected angry Muslim is ever going to be. To allow the pricks to continue to use Muslim’s as their bogeyman and justification for existence is simply adding insult to injury.

  1. Yes and we have john to thank for this hence why Obama loves him so much. I was hoping he (john) might fall of a cliff while playing golf but our nz police will be there to catch him all paid for by us the nz tax payer
Our nz police can’t even do their own job in their local communities but they pander to the rich and wealthy makes me want to vomit.

  2. I’m sure I am on a watachlist of those shits.

They should be disbanded, got rid of, people would then have to get real jobs perhaps ‘helping people’ and we would stop supporting the biggest bully and biggest military state in the world.

    • We should be now pointing the finger at labour who are still sitting on the same perch as GCSB/SIS.

Labour were always critical of our diminishing privacy under GCSB/SIS when in opposition so now……………..????????

      • 100%. CG.

Any politician who moves against them will have a short career but gains can be made in making a more open society.

Probably our biggest threat is the corporate media who will turn on anyone seeking to rid the system of surveillance intended to monitor and control any real freedom for change.

  3. Our govt is sponsoring these terrorist ever heard of the white Helmets? well MFAT along with the NZ fire Service helped train these so called Syrian Civil defence team that actually are connected to an Al Qaeda http://www.mintpressnews.com/investigation-white-helmets-committing-acts-terror-across-syria/231597/

Now I have been called a conspiracy theorist (Tinfoil hat)for claiming that the western nations are responsible for the rise of ISIS directly and indirectly. Well I couldn’t give a fuck anyway as I have for the 56 years of being on this planet have seen western leaders lie to their citizen into war using props at the UN to claim legitimacy for their impending attack and mass western narrative MSM to prop up the propaganda. The first casualty of war is the truth but these western institution like our intelligent services are part of this machinery of lies.

    • ‘conspiracy theorist (Tinfoil hat)for claiming that the western nations are responsible for the rise of ISIS directly and indirectly’

The term conspiracy theorist was invented by the CIA in the 1960s to undermine and discredit those who had genuine concerns (or actual evidence) about the corrupt state of western so-called democracies….particularly the USA of the time, which was rapidly morphing into a fascist police state.

The crucial period was in the late 1960s, when ‘the forces of darkness’ in the US were under attack from The Weathermen’ and from liberals sick of the Vietnam War. Once the deep state managed to capture and incarcerate ‘The Weathermen’ and had beaten up or actually killed enough protesters the fascist agenda we see today was secured.

At this point in time western governments can lie to their citizens with impunity, and the bulk of the general populace couldn’t care: the ‘bread and circuses’ strategy still works.

Yes, of course ISIS was an American construct: the American industrial-military-financial complex has been using divide and conquer strategies for decades -until recently extremely successfully.

However, in less than 5 years (possibly 2) the crunch will come for the criminals who have been misleading folk in the west for decades because China has built up economic alliances with Russia and Iran etc. and has demonstrated will not be pushed around by the US any longer. Indeed, it seems that the Petrodollar, which has allowed the US to run deficits for decades to pay for military overspending, is about to be dethroned by China’s establishment of a Petroyuan.

By the same token, Russia has clearly demonstrated it won’t be pushed around any longer by the US, and is prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure its own survival in the face of US aggression.

The Saker has much to say on that matter:

‘False flags: this is really a time-honored western tradition used by pretty much all the western powers. Since the general public is brainwashed and mostly can’t even begin to imagine that “freedom loving liberal democracies” could use methods usually ascribed to evil, bloodthirsty dictatorial regimes, false flags are an ideal way to get the public opinion in the correct state of mind to approve of aggressive, hostile and even violent policies against a perceived threat or obstacle to hegemony.
Soft power: have you noticed how the Oscars or the Cannes festival always pick exactly the kind of “artists” which the Empire happens to politically promote? Well, this is true not only for the Oscars or the Cannes festival but for almost all of the cultural, social and political life in the West. This is especially true of so-called “human rights” and “peace” organizations which are simply political pit-bulls which can be sicked on any country in need of subversion and/or intervention. Russia has never developed that kind of political toolkit.
Verbal escalation: this tactic is extremely crude yet very effective. You begin by vociferously proclaiming some falsehood. The fact that you proclaimed it in such vociferous and hyperbolic matter achieves two immediate results: it sends all your friends and allies a clear message “you are either with us or against us”, that leaves no room for nuance or analysis, and it gives otherwise rather spineless politicians no way to back down, thus strengthening their “resolve”.
Herding: there is safety in numbers. So when dealing with a potentially dangerous foe, like Russia, all the little guys flock together so as to appear bigger or, at least, harder to single out. Also, when everybody is responsible, nobody is. Thus herding is also politically expedient. Finally, it changed the inter-relational dynamic from one of friends or allies to one typically found among accomplices in a crime.
Direct threats: the Empire got away with making threats left and right for many decades, and this is a habit which is hard to break. The likes of Nikki Haley or Hillary Clinton probably sincerely believe that the USA is quasi-omnipotent or, conversely, they might be terrified by the creeping suspicion that it might not. Threats are also an easy, if ineffective, substitute for diplomacy and negotiations, especially when your position is objectively wrong and the other side is simply a lot smarter than you.
The big problem is that none of these methods work against Russia or, let me correct that, don’t work anymore (they sure appeared to work in the past). The Russian public opinion is fully aware of all these methods (courtesy of a Russian media NOT controlled by AngloZionists) and Margarita Simonian beautifully summarized the feelings that all this elicits in the Russian population:
“all your injustice and cruelty, inquisitorial hypocrisy and lies you forced us to stop respecting you. You and your so-called “values.” We don’t want to live like you live, anymore. For fifty years, secretly and openly, we wanted to live like you, but not any longer. We have no more respect for you, and for those among us that you support, and for all those people who support you (…). For that, you only have yourself to blame (…) Our people are capable to forgive a lot. But we don’t forgive arrogance, and no normal nation would. Your only remaining Empire would be wise to learn the history of its allies, all of them are former empires. To learn the ways they lost their empires. Only because of their arrogance. White man’s burden, my ass!” (this last sentence in English in the original text – trans.)
The stark truth is that far from wanting to invade, appease or otherwise please the West, Russia has absolutely no need, or even interest, in it. None. For centuries Russian elites have been western-focused to some degree or other and none of them could even begin to imagine a West-less Russia. This is still true today, the Russian “elites” still want to live like (very rich) Brits or Germans and they still hate the common Russian people and Vladimir Putin. But those Russian elites have now been crushed by the magnitude of Putin’s victory in the presidential elections. Normally, this should result in an even bigger exile of Russian “businessmen” to the UK, France or Israel, but the problem now is that the British are making noises about punishing them for, well, being Russians (even Russophobic, pro-western, “Russians”). As a result, these “poor” pro-western liberals can only whine on the social media and in the few pro-western media outlets left in Russia (no, not due to repression, but due to their political irrelevancy being backed, as they are, by something between 2% and 5% of the population).
But setting aside the wealthy “elites” for a moment, Russia as a country and as a nation has simply no use for the West and what it represents. Those who fantasize about Russia being interested in “Europe”, “White identity” or “Western Christianity” are only kidding themselves. ‘

Needless to say, the liars, cowards, sycophants and saboteurs that constitute the NZ political arena will ensure that NZ gets taken down with the US when the crunch does finally come.

  4. They have found a ‘devil’ they can portray and hold up, it is too good an opportunity to let go, and face reality.

Goebbles could not have done a better job, we have experts at work, they are the dirtiest propaganda experts and manipulators in the whole world, right here at work in NZ Inc.

As most here are sheeples, they sign up willingly to go to their own meat works.

  5. Yep, the West helped create ISIS – and we in NZ have made a jolly good effort to make ourselves targets by blundering into countries like Afghanistan, terrorising innocent people, killing or tragically traumatising dear wee children, then lying about it as if that wipes our slate clean. But it doesn’t.

  6. I advocate get rid of SIS and totally reform GCSB after the Dotcom.

Their money should be cut. Seriously we have more of a security issue with P and bugs and pollen coming in aka MAFF cutbacks as well as our immigration policy (or lack of it) than having all these terrorists coming or already here and needing to be spied on.

For gods sake you can just come into NZ after being deported under a different name and live here for years and employ a whole load of illegal labour and SIS and GCSB don’t notice or if they did, it was years later.

Reform of all the gaps in the other government departments is more important than funding the blundering SIS and GCSB. Half the world is stealing our passports and the government is giving away the rest no questions asked. They they worry about security!

I’d even prefer the defence force to have the money than our own political police. At lease they can help in earth quakes.

And of course invasion of privacy by a bunch of Eton type racist and sexist dimwits is not acceptable. Human rights in this country are now down to the lowest common denominator.

  7. Asian P Importers and Organised Criminal Gangs here in NZ are more of a threat than ISIS, I wish the NZ Authorities would start to take an active interest in these groups who have infiltrated every Law Enforcement Agency world wide ?

  8. What have we got?
A beautiful country the size of the UK but with only 4.7 million people
A country rich in vital resources i.e. food production capabilities second to none, billions of litres of fresh water in storage in some of the cleanest, deepest lakes in the world with billions more litres dropping daily everywhere here.
Our country has sweet crude oil, although not a lot of it, one of the largest LPG reserves per head of population in the world, impressive hydro electric generation system all paid for and operating smoothly to world class engineering standards, an enormous and rich coastline for the size of the country/population ratio.
It’s not difficult to go on and on…
So, SIS / GCSB / NSA / FBI / Israeli special ops ? Nah. Why would they be interested in little NZ. Way down here, miles away from the wonders that capitalism has given the rest of the world, like war-minced children, terrifying weather event scenarios expanding daily with the consequential threat of mass starvation and disease, the constant threat of horrifying stupidity leading to setting fire to our planet in a tit for tat hissy fit between morons with small cock syndrome…
Yeah / nah. She’ll be right. We don’t have anything anybody else would want.
    Ooooooo ? Look? Rugby?

  9. Meanwhile the US, Britain and every other western country stands by while Turkey uses jihardists to try to crush the Syrian Kurds who were the only ones actually fighting ISIS
