  1. Assad and the US have have lalways been partners in the past. From the time Assad lent the use of the regime’s torture chambers to the CIA as the end point of the majority of CIA flights of “extraordinary rendition” designed to dodge US laws against torture.

From the time Assad sent 20,000 Syrian soldiers to fight under US command against Iraq, in the First Gulf War as an original member of George Bush Senior’s “Coalition Of The Willing”.

From the time Assad regime privatised the health service and other major sectors of the Syrian economy at the behest of the World Bank and the IMF.

This past history is ignored by NZ’s small coterie of little Lord Haw Haws who rush to defend the regime against even the slightest criticism of Assad fascism and genocide. So I wonder what they have got to say about this?

  2. SEE WHAT WE HUMANS ARE DOING TO OUR OWN FOOD;

Sugar planet: rising CO2 adds carbs to crops
Coming up on This Way Up

    potatoes
“We are witnessing the greatest injection of carbohydrates into the biosphere in human history―[an] injection that dilutes other nutrients in our food supply.” Irakli Loladze quoted by Helena Bottemiller Evich in Politico
The world is getting sweeter, as rising CO2 levels change not only our climate, but the plants we eat, too.

Helena Bottemiller Evich has written about the link between rising CO2 levels and how this changes our crops for Politico.

  3. Google this, find a leader of The Left in Germany, a brilliant character:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregor_Gysi

We live in an intellectually starved society, we live in politcal and social austerity, people here are in a slumber, and thrive on consumerist competitism, ffs, what a society is this?

Do we have any culture?? Any social responsi bility?

  4. Jacinda Ardern has to tell Winston, sorry, we will NOT accept your terms, engage in a wide scale social attack and win over the unions, the workers, the common people, the beneficiaries, also the losing lower middle class, and win the coming election in 2020.

They are the target groups losing, and not winning, and La bour has to reconnect and get real and win, if they cannot bother, prepare for eternal Nat rule, ffs.

    • This is why killing an American President may be considered a heroic deed by some, ask me why, I cannot answer, you judge yourself.

  5. The only people that speak total truth on this blog are Countryboy and Afewknowthetruth, whether you like it or not.

  6. Signing off, tried to show there is lots of spirit for revolution in other places, why does it not grow in little NZ?

    • Because real kiwis like to think they’re a little bit smarter than the average. So when New Zealanders run out of ideas revolution is possible. As long as enough people are willing to learn then democratic reform is possible.

So if you’re trying to stoke revolution. Getting information out to the public first is silly because it’s counter revolutionary. Muppet.

      • Let us ask, who really is the ‘muppet’ here?

And sometimes it does not harm to be a bit of a Muppet, as life is grim and serious enough, so time to make some light hearted fun, perhaps, sometimes.

  7. The TPPA protest March in Auckland ( and other regions/ cities) WAS big – it took five or so years to build to that size. There were kiwis from all walks of life on the protest – and they were angry!
    What did the media show?
” All these people are causing traffic issues…”
NZ is being dipped by its MSM and Steven Joyce knows it!
