  1. Q: When is a terrorist attack, not a terrorist attack?

    A: When we do it.

On Friday there were two bombing outrages in which civilians were the victims. One in London, England, and one in Deir Ezzor, Syria.

Which bombing got world headlines, and strident condemnations from Western leaders?

Which bombing was not even mentioned?

Which bombing launched a massive manhunt and vows by Western leaders for full investigations to bring the perpetrators to justice?

Which bombing will the perpetrators not face any investigation, let alone be charged with any crime?

“US warplanes have bombed a refugee camp in #DeirEzzor. Dozens of Syrian children were killed. A horrific massacre!”

It was not a large explosion, and British police and health officials said none of the injured was thought to be seriously hurt. Yet police said it was a terrorist attack, the fifth in Britain this year.

  2. re the Thought Police…censorship of the non mainstream media

    McCarthyism

“a vociferous campaign against alleged communists in the US government and other institutions carried out under Senator Joseph McCarthy in the period 1950–4. Many of the accused were blacklisted or lost their jobs, though most did not in fact belong to the Communist Party.”

‘Crosstalk on RT and Sputnik: attacking free speech’

    https://www.rt.com/shows/crosstalk/403415-sputnik-under-fire-us/

“Both the television station you are watching now and the Russian news agency Sputnik may find themselves in legal jeopardy in the United States. The drive to designate both as foreign agents under the “Foreign Agents Registration Act” is unnerving and dangerous. It would seem that it is those in power who grant freedom of speech.

    • Yes RB, US hawks and corporatesare all trying to ban Russia entirely before theyplot to destablise Russia in a wild attempt to take over Russia, which has long been a NAZI dream since 1940.

There are now over 20 million German citizens & their desendants in USA now and many have senior Government & media positions.

At the outbreak of WW2 there were 10 millon German citizens in USA I documentary last evening advised me of.

No wonder why this ‘anti-Russian hype’ is now being forged from the USA is it?

      • we need RT and alternative media more than ever…it is not in USA citizens interests to de-stabilise the Middle East …but it is in Israels

    • Not entirely. Now considering a great many people enjoy the Assad hate boner narrative pushed by muppets in the Whitehouse. It’s difficult to see how anyone could come to alternate conclusions.

Syrian Army with support of Russian vehicles are making gains averaging 30ks a day. Destroying the most capable IS forces. Just bodying anything IS has. While protecting there flanks which they learnt the hardway. and it seemed western MSM only showed the failures not the trophies.

The latest trophy last week 9/09 was Akkerbat, and now they’re on verge of braking the blockade at DeirEzzor.

Also around the same time, Syrian forces took base 137, literally less than 10 km from the city. Sparking celebrations. That night the population in that town celebrated the victory and posted to Facebook for loving memory by expats. Probably still too early yet, it is easy to understand their joy.

And and not a word from western MSM. Probably because the war in Syria is coming to a close, won spectacularly by Syrian people with support of Russian and pro-Assad forces entering base 137, sparking the celebrations. It appears the Syrians have learnt that to fight on there own.

And nobody in the west will notice. Probably because they cannot come up with lines to dress it up for the below average intellect who’s only concern is the west big, the west great, the west never lose, all hail the bigmac.

      • You can guarantee that some anonymous ignorant, or confused Assad apologist will pop up to try and excuse the genocidal war waged by the Assad regime against the Syrian people, in league with imperialism, both US and Russian.

BEIRUT: Separate suspected Russian and US-led coalition strikes on Syria’s Deir Ezzor province killed at least 39 civilians on Thursday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitor said.
The strikes hit several parts of the eastern province, where parallel Russian and US-backed ground offensives are under way against the Islamic State group.
The Britain-based monitor said seven children were among the dead in the strikes, which hit multiple parts of the province including the city of Mayadeen, a remaining IS stronghold.

The Coherent Left have a more objective fact based understanding of the true nature of the Assad regime than an ignorant and anonymous Assad apologist.

The Panama Papers have revealed what all Syrians fighting for freedom and the coherent sector of the Left already knew: the Assad regime is not only dictatorial, bloody and extremely repressive, it is also deeply corrupt and a great defender of neoliberalism. That is the first and most established face of imperialist policies in the country, not the people in arms! Unfortunately, there is still a sector of the “Left” that persists in ignoring reality.

      • If you too are calling myself out as an anonymous Assad apologist or Asian then you too have no idea what these things are.

And Pats info is questionable. The Pentagon hasn’t collaborated with the Kremlin in any meaningful way since Trump blew up one of Russia’s airfields in Syria some time back. In fact Putin has ordered war games along Russia’s western borders with what looks like over 12k personal (more like 100) with out NATO observers which brakes a pact Russia and Nato made that says NATO observers have to be allowed access to Russian war games using personal numbers OVER 12k so I wish the Kremlin AND NATO could collaborate on this fundamental issue let alone Intel sharing over Syrian sorties.

Only one people on this God given planet is fighting ISIS and that’s the Syrian people. And who leads them? Assad. Democratically elected under UN observers and okay’d. So democracy in lower case but democracy none the less. Why the White House materially funds and trains quote “rebel organisations friendly to the US” (which is code for ISIS sympathisers) I have zero idea.

Hundreds of thousands have perished in this civil war and many millions displaced by western moral judgments saying oh look, THESE 30 children and thinking it might add up to something. The people of the Middle East know more than I do about the Wests grab for land, water, and resources. First by Rome, then Great Britian, then Germany and Italy again, then Britain, and now Russia and the U.S. And zero amounts of nit picking will change there reality.

I made the observation way back in 2014 before ISIS took Mosel in Iraq that Shia muppets of the White House arresting Sunni would kick off wave after wave of suicide bombings and I don’t half blame them for kicking the U.S muppets out of the Middle East on an angry rail of jihad. The proper western response should have been, Joint Chief Command + Pentagon capabilities + unilateralism to pick up the weapons ISF left on the ground for ISIS militants who’s only motivation is an un-described number of male virgins. But that’s a mute point now that Syrians lead by the leader they chose to fight this Middle East civil war is actually doing what we in the west ostensibly pay pollies to do with all the discoveries of the western world at there finger tips. So poor sand munchers will clean up the mess the west made.

The west lost the moral high ground hundreds of years ago. The only thing that matters is relative positions of power not building in ISIS encampments.

        • US and collaborators have no place in funding or organising “rebellion” in Europe, Middle East. South America, Asia, India, Africa, Australia and NZ.

What you are seeing in Syria is not confined to the Middle East, this century nor the last.

Details may change and be a point of argument but fundamentally nothing much has changed, except the number of millions that have died as a result each decade.

  3. More mainstream coverage of London bombing.

    http://www.msn.com/en-nz/news/world/british-police-arrest-man-in-hunt-for-london-bombers/ar-AAs0cwu?li=AAaUOAg&ocid=spartanntp

Compare this wall to wall coverage of the London bombing, to the deafening silence from every New Zealand journalist and mainstream media outlet to the hundreds, including children, killed by US airstrike on Deir Ezzor refugee camp.

The New Zealand media and every professional paid journalist whose duty it is to inform the public, debase themselves on a daily basis.
