Where do I even begin with this one?

Seymour calls NZ First MP a “f***king idiot”

Act Party leader David Seymour has hit out at a NZ First MP – calling him a “f***ing idiot” during a speech to a business audience.

Seymour’s attack came after NZ First MP Richard Prosser earlier advised the audience to sell shares in Contact Energy if they had them.

…David Seymour is a fucking idiot…

…Richard Proser is a fucking idiot…

Prosser is a long-serving NZ First MP, who made headlines in 2013 after he wrote that young Muslim men should be barred from flying on Western airlines, saying New Zealanders’ rights were being denigrated by a pack of misogynists from Wogistan. He later apologised.

…having a fucking idiot calling a fucking idiot a fucking idiot is irony cubed.

Seymour is currently polling internally behind the National candidate in part because the Asian population within Epsom are very anti his euthanasia stance and he is desperately flailing around trying to get attention as the Jacinda effect swamps all other political coverage.

If Green and Labour voters who wasted their vote voting for their electorate candidate held their nose and voted for the National candidate, Paul Goldsmith, ACT would be over and David kicked out of Parliament.

  1. Listen to Martyn , all you Epsom Labourites and Greenites !

It’d be a real scream to boot that holographic Rimmer guy out for touch !

And it’d be even more of a scream to realize after so long the crumbling of Nationals lap dogs, – one ignominious defeat after the other. They had it coming.

  2. Seymour is moving perilously close to Nazi ideology of eugenics. It may not be an overtly clumsy, race-based eugenics but considering that Maori and Pacifica are over-represented in poverty stats – what are we to infer from that?

  3. Indeed, under the crock of MMP, Labour and Green voters should vote for the National candidate for there electorate vote to ultimately have their overall preferred outcome.

Core element of a voting system is that it is intuitive. Having to vote for the “opposite” party to achieve your overall intention is ridiculous. Couple that with “wasted votes” where part of your vote goes to party/s you didn’t vote for and it’s time to retire MMP. It’s been a first step towards proportional representation, now it’s time for a grown-up system like STV.
