More speakers for Māori Campaign Launch

Labour Party Deputy Leader Jacinda Ardern and former Labour Party MP and Minister John Tamihere are the new guest speakers who have been invited to address members and supporters at this weekend’s Labour Māori Campaign Launch.

Jacinda will talk about leadership and why leader Andrew Little is so important for the Labour Party campaign; while John Tamihere will talk about his history with Labour and whether the party is on the right track in terms of capturing the Māori vote.

Also attending will be top Māori broadcaster Dale Husband who will be MC for the day. Filming the day and the Māori MPs will be Labour’s newest Māori supporter, the well-known filmmaker and actor Tammy Davis.

Media are invited to all sessions with the welcome commencing at 10.30 AM (programme attached).

The campaign launch will be held 11am, Sunday 30th at Ngā Whare Waatea Marae, 31 Calthorp Close, Mangere, Auckland 2024 (off Robertson Road).
