Let’s be honest about why Bill English has done everything in his power to protect Todd Barclay because it just doesn’t make sense right?
Why manipulate the truth? Why pretend to know nothing about a secret recording, and then admit a secret recording, then suggest no such tape existed and then admit to being offered to have the tape that didn’t exist played to him?
Why pay money out of the PMs fund?

The answer is obvious.

- Social Security (Stopping Benefit Payments for Offenders who Repeatedly Fail to Comply with Community Sentences) Amendment Bill (National Party members bill – still before the House)
…and here’s a list of legislation National will still be able to pass before the election…

…this protection of Barclay has occurred because it allows National to keep passing laws. This abuse of power has occurred to protect National’s agenda.
It’s time they were called out on this and punished at the ballot box.

Contrarily I see the Heralds Brian Rudman sees no real issue with Barclay apart from the issue clearly lying with his office staff, not him.
He was unconcerned with the lying PM or the extreme efforts that National Party henchmen went to to subvert the Police investigation.
In short Brian just didn’t get it.
But he felt the intern msrae matter far more concerning.

I am still wondering how much money Barclay demanded NOT to resign immediately and effectively put National into a minority government.
He must have asked for something, it would be out of character for a National MP to walk away with nothing.

the heavily indebted home owner will ignore any level of corruption because they cant afford any disruption of the status quo can you imagine the affect of 10s of thousands of kiwi build homes and income assessed state rentals being built on mass who would buy over priced legacy homes all new purchases would want the new homes the renters simply cant afford a labour government so lets give the greedy bastards one.
