  1. A story that seemingly popped up from no-where in a very low key fashion on Morning Report this morning.
    National has ratified the TPPA
    Anyone mystified how the government can ratify a deal that doesn’t actually exist?
    Even the National apologist Guyon Espiner was puzzled.
    Todd McClay gave us the customary National spin about how important it was to be part of “the deal”, even though he couldn’t explain what the deal was.
    Sounds a lot like the political equivalent of signing a blank cheque.
    This from a government that purports to be financially prudent.
    Ha! ha!
