“The resignation of Michael Flynn as national security advisor is essentially a political assassination committed by the intelligence community that is being aided by the liberal mainstream media. In all likelihood, Flynn’s ousting represents a disturbing pattern and a serious threat to the new administration.
CrossTalking with Michael Maloof, George Szamuely, and Charles Shoebridge.”
“In this episode of the Keiser Report, Max and Stacy discuss fast trains and high-speed rail presidents.
In the second half, Max interviews Dr Michael Hudson, author of ‘J is for Junk Economics’, about the fake economy, the binned TPP trade deal and Trump: the first 100 hours.”
Chooky, it’ll be interesting to see how RT News reports Trump if/when US/Russian relations go sour (as I expect they will eventually)…
RT News is useful, as it presents the Russian government perspective. Much like Fox News presents the Established Republican perspective.
I use RT for reflection and balance.

Placed against the ‘global corporate junket’ we call “mainstream media”.
A misnomer if I ever heard one eh?
I guess RT was easy for me as when I was a kid of 10 Dad was a member of the NZ Communist party after he was black-listed from the Auckland workforce after he was sacked during the 1951 wharf strike.
I remember dad was an avid socialist looking for equal justice.
But most of all was when the large “Soviet Union “magazine we received by mail every month we got to read it after dad.
I always recall how industrial the Russians were and how women worked in industry also, and always looked so drab then.
I did respect them for their true grit during the “cold war” era and I was often picked on for being a “commies” son.
I lived in USA/Canada during most of my working life and now look at Russians as brave true hearted people not the evil ‘commies’ most always thought they were as in Canada there are many Russians that seemed at good as we were then.
RT is a good sounding board to equal what we get in the “dumbed down” media we are exposed to here now.
Thanks for that backgrounder, Cleangreen. It puts it into context and where possible I’ll endeavour to check RT News for an alternative perspective.
As for your dad – respect!
Obviously you haven’t watched RT…it is not indoctrination by the Russian government !
…and this is not “RT News” …’CrossTalk’ is a show chaired by American Professor Peter Lavelle which is a movable discussion/debate between world experts…and the experts change from topic to topic and show to show and they come from all sides of the spectrum. Likewise the ‘Keiser Report’ is by two Americans and is often quite critical of Trump

RT has a number of Shows of which ‘CrossTalk’ and ‘Keiser Report’ are just two. I suggest you watch some of them
https://www.rt.com/shows/
You may find the Show ‘The Big Picture ‘ more to your taste. It is consistently critical of Trump from a traditional Democrat perspective.

I used to watch him on cable TV when living in Florida when he was on CNN.
