There is only one reason why we have money for tax cuts. Because the Government have gutted the neoliberal welfare state and are borrowing money for those tax cuts…

…we have money for tax cuts but we don’t have money to stop a boy from being in an adult police prison cell for 6 nights.

We have money for tax cuts but not to prevent the 560 deaths by suicide this year.

We have money for tax cuts but not to home the 41 000 homeless.

We have money for tax cuts but nothing more for the children with learning disabilities.

We have money for tax cuts but none to feed the 300 000 kids living in poverty.

We have money for tax cuts but none for those rotting under the weight of grinding poverty.

Key’s ability to promote empty aspiration and vacant optimism while the social statistics groan under his draconian neoliberal welfare state reforms is truly one of the great political swindles of the 21st century.

  1. 560 deaths by suicide ? I thought it was 1700? Where the Hell did I get 1700 from?? My mind is slipping.

Jonk-E is a toxic violation of what it is to be human. And he’s not alone.
Jonky’s also a greasy little conman who’s been supplanted into our politic for a specific purpose, and that is to facilitate a bloodless coupe to hand NZ/Aotearoa to his Zionist masters. Everything else is pap and chatter.

  2. So Mr Key, can you tell me why those involved in the following court case are still yet to be compensated after 4 1/2 years?

“The ministry defended its policy during the case, which both the Human Rights Review Tribunal and the High Court have said discriminates on the basis of family status.”

This is why we are under a dictatorship.

Clearly money spent on a flag referendum should have been prioritised for the above families.

Maybe the same courtesy should be given to these families and should have been given to Helen Kelly as has been given to Nikki Kaye. Or is it only the privileged that count?

  3. Tax cuts are good for the economy and will percolate around the suburbs, cities and regions stimulating more economic growth.

There’s plenty of money being invested that can be used to pay off debt down the track.

“The NZ Super Fund and ACC today settled their investment in Kiwi Group Holdings Limited (KGHL), the owner of Kiwibank. NZ Super Fund has taken a 25% stake from NZ Post for $263 million. ACC has invested $231 million for a 22% stake, with the $494 million deal valuing KGHL at $1,050 million.” http://www.kiwibank.co.nz/about-us/press-releases/2016-10-31-nz-super-fund-acc-confirm-investment-in-kiwi-group-holdings-limited/

Once Peter Dunne legalises medical marijuana after the next election there will be a revenue stream there that has traditionally gone into the gangs.

So all is looking rosie in NZ, especially with Changda investing in affordable housing stock. http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/87083608/changda-international-development-leads-700m-housing-project-in-manukau.

The PM was also very careful not to spook the electorate by lauding the Changda success in a public meeting or media circus.

Steady as she goes with housing investment and that is another sign that the tax cuts can be paid for and then trickle out to New Zealanders

    • Mt Roskill has spoken, they do not want a bar of the crap you try to propagate here and in EPPSOOOM.
