Can we please have a service for Helen Kelly in Auckland as well?

When the dearly loved Rod Donald died, there was a service in Wellington and there was one in Auckland. It would be a great shame if we could not do the same for Helen Kelly.

Many Auckland’s and many NZers from around the Auckland region would love to be able to pay their respects.

I think we can all appreciate the terrible loss to Helen’s family and no one would want to put extra stress upon them at this terrible time, but if the powers that be can also look to arrange a service in Auckland, I know many who would love to come.

Never heard of him! 🙁 But I have heard of Helen Kelley.

Just shows what a totally fucked up ahole NZ is now!

    Greedies keep sucking Key’s rubbish.

    This country is finished.

  2. Needs to be done.

A service and possibly some sort of permanent memorial dedicated to Helen Kelly in a public place. We owe her that much as she was an exceptional New Zealander. Others get far more honours for doing far less than what she did for people.

  3. When Peter Conway (NZCTU) died a memorial service was held in Auckland a while after the main service in Wellington, which was well appreciated

  4. I’m in Hawkes Bay and would also like to pay my respects to this incredible woman. A national day of mourning seems appropriate to me.

  5. YES to a national day of mourning!!!

It wont happen of course under Robin Hood and his band of thieves robbing the poor to feed the rich.

I am in Dunedin which is still a Labour town and i would attend a service if one was held.
