An All Black having sex in a toilet should only shock you if you take your moral and ethical cue’s from people who are good at kicking and catching balls

I’m sorry, what? Have we ended the Kim got robbed news cycle with an All Black having sex in a disabled toilet news cycle?

What?

Am I supposed to be outraged because he used the disabled toilets and he’s not disabled?

Hu?

Was she pulled into the toilet kicking and screaming? Was she drunk and not in charge of her functions? Did he coerce her in any fashion? Did he have a gun to her head? Was she asleep and he carried her in? Was she tied up? Did she complain in any way that he forced her to do something? Was she brainwashed by 10 000 years of patriarchy and couldn’t resist her gender expected cultural constructs?

No? Then what two consenting adults want to get up to isn’t my business.

But he’s got a partner. It’s immoral.

Yes, and this is a painful and incredibly public moment which I’m sure is only hurting his partner even more. This is between him and her, it’s none of our bloody business.

Have we become so prudish that we are now publicly shaming people for immoral public conduct?

ISIS does that.

When the Planet is melting, a dangerous fascist in America got one goose step closer to nuking the Planet and a global financial crisis pending – we are taking up time with a dickhead thinking with his dick head?

An All Black having sex in a toilet should only shock you if you take your moral and ethical cue’s from people who are good at kicking and catching balls. Our weird need to elevate a game barely anyone else on the planet bothers to play to the role of personal messiah and saviour is quite frankly sad.

But this event comes on the heels of the Chiefs sex bonding party which reflects poorly on Rugby!

No it didn’t, it reflected poorly on us as a society. Look at the way the immediate response by everyone concerned was to write off the dancers experience of abuse.

That’s not a reflection of Rugby, that’s an ugly sexist reflection of us as a society.

Blaming rugby for our sexist society avoids the rest of us having to examine it ourselves.

  1. What should we expect in a country where the PM pulls ponytails for fun, and is “proud of his daughter taking pics of herself nearly naked;” where the Minister of Women is silent of things that seriously affect women(?); where the general mentality is that “if a woman is raped, she must have been asking for it;” and so on???
But yes, why shove it down our throats? Isn’t there anything else newsworthy?

  2. Right on Martyn.

Who gives a damn about who screws who where I sure don’t.

Just another crap distraction from things that really matter.

  3. I take objection to the conduct of the All Black having his form of fun in a disabled toilet. It was gross disregard for the disabled to do this, he was fit enough to entertain himself and his partner of choice in this escapade. Disabled toilets are for the disabled, and those not disabled should not use them, unless they are in an emergency to use a toilet for its actual function.

But to make this a headline story in the MSM, that appalls me also, as such stuff would not be covered by most other media in other countries. It seems though, the over importance of professional rugby and the obsession with sports heroes makes New Zealand a different kind of place.

As an All Black you are almost god like, it seems, to too many that is.

I also note that while TV3 presented a report on Marama Davidson and that women’s boat heading to Gaza, and that the Israeli Navy seized them, TVNZ did not.

Now what is more important, a foolish and up himself All Black entertaining himself and a partner in a sexual act in a public toilet for disabled, or a Green MP joining a protest offshore of Gaza and being detained by Israeli navy soldiers?

I go for the latter, but it seems the MSM in Niu Zilliland have other views and priorities, and are determined to dumb people down ever so more.
