  1. I have to say I have very little faith in the public service middle and senior management these days.
As with most of our now corporatised little fiefdoms AND the State Services Commission itself, I can’t for the life of me see how some dickhead thought scanning MP’s emails based on criteria that someone has arbitrarily set could possibly be OK!
Do we still have a proper (public service-wide Code of Conduct)?. It seems the Police managed to exempt themselves from it a while back when inappropriate emails were circulating amongst staff.
Fucking amazing!!!!! But then I guess not surprising.
I do differentiate between the corporatised management culture however (those so-called ‘leaders’ all plugged up with corporate speak, blame shifting but credit taking), and those on the front line: The latter work in spite of them often, rather than because of them.

I hope there are some ‘learnings’ in all this for Parliamentary Services managers ‘going forward’. More than that though ….. (given we were promised greater accountability, fishinsy and fektivniss during the 80’s reforms), I hope some have the decency to resign. I won’t hold my breath.

    • +100…the public service used to be just that ie in the service of the public of New Zealand

…but now it is more in the service of politicians ( and corrupt politicians in the case of jonkey Nact)

…it is now a case of fear and loathing in the public service and many of the good ones have gone …been weeded out Orwellian style

      • Yes. Once a corrupt self-serving liar gets installed as CEO (and that is the case throughout the country for numerous city, district and regional councils, hospital boards etc.) the decent people leave in disgust or get pushed out and replaced by obsequious liars because decent people do not fit in with the corrupt culture that gets established.

Numerous organisations that used to be thought as ‘for the common good’ are now pathways to wealth accumulation for mendacious, self-serving bureaucrats.

What is more, these awful people are richly rewarded for destroying the environment and for destroying the financial and social sustainability of communities……as per the NWO agenda, and many of them begin to believe in their own infallibility and their own superiority.

  2. US Government ATSDR website toxic registry portal. – Tyre dust as (PAH’s.)

http://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/2012/07/31/3554997.htm – How dangerous is rubber dust?

How much rubber dust is there, where does it go, and is it harmful?

Each time a tyre rotates, it loses a layer of rubber about a billionth of a metre thick. If you do some numbers, this works out to about four million million million carbon atoms lost with each rotation.

A busy road with 25,000 vehicles travelling on it each day will generate around nine kilograms of tyre dust per kilometre.

In the USA, about 600,000 tonnes of tyre dust comes off vehicles every year.

Are our waterways and our underground water supplies now being poisoned by PAH’s. (tyre dust particles?)

ATSDR SAYS; “In soils, PAHs are most likely to stick tightly to particles; certain PAHs move through soil to contaminate underground water” Refer to below; “What happens to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) when they enter the environment?”

  3. What exactly is it with Hillary Clinton?

Watching the video below close up, apart from a piece of metal (or something) falling out of her pant leg, she seems to be dragging her foot, in a manner similar to someone having a neurological episode.

Obviously the woman isn’t well … is it pneumonia or a neurological illness/disorder? Makes me wonder in this condition, why she carries on. Or is someone/something pushing her to keep going for some reason or other? Payback time perhaps?

Another point is she hasn’t been seen in public without wearing dark glasses for the past week or so! Protective lenses maybe, or something more sinister, such as disguising the fact a body double is replacing Hillary!

All somewhat odd. So much so, it makes Trump’s campaign seem normal, which is saying something!

    • +100 Mary

Golly she doesn’t look functioning at all!…more like a floppy doll

….maybe she is really a robot?

…it is cruel to keep her on imo

  4. Plans to swap her out last minute with Bernie…?
Seriously I don’t think hillary is going to last the distance.

    • Kim Dandy,

If Democrats replaced Hillary with Bernie Sanders they are assured to win the election hands down, that is a surety.

    • Definitely not Bernie. But if Hi-Liar does keel over before November, some other psychotic sociopath can be slipped in to replace her. There is no shortage of psychotic sociopaths in politics these days.

      • Things must be getting grim for the US ruing class when the best they can come up for the top managerial position is a murderous corrupt sociopath like Clinton and a deranged narcissist like Trump. Might be a sign of the apocalypse for US imperialism. . .

  5. Other problems for Hillary Clinton:

‘FBI calls Clinton email probe ‘different’ as key witness ditches House hearing’

    https://www.rt.com/usa/359229-congress-fbi-clinton-emails/

…”Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) was not satisfied with the two redacted documents, demanding full access to the investigation from Herring.

“We decide what’s relevant – not the Department of Justice, not the FBI,” Chaffetz said during Monday’s hearing. “It’s unclear to me how the FBI can prevent a member of Congress from seeing what we’re already allowed to see by law, yet here they have done so.”

“That’s the way a banana republic acts, not the way the United States of America acts,” Chaffetz added.

“I don’t expect to have to issue a subpoena to see unclassified information.”…
